I also just simply don't enjoy the taste of alcohol. My parents never kept it barred from me (so that when I hit teenagerhood/college I wouldn't hurt myself overdrinking). So I'm just here trying to get as good a handle as possible on my studies, knowing that in one week I will be home with nothing to stress over.
I am OK with pretty much everyone's profiles so far and updated the player list. Will add my own and then see about getting this started during the weekend or late tomorrow.
So the party in Worlds End consists of:
~ An over-the-hill mercenary spellsword who happens to be a marksman.
~ A pacifistic magical Kobold who thinks they’re an anime protagonist (also counts as token non-human)..
~ “prodigy child” Annie, magus.
Hmm. This party seems to be missing a strongman/warrior/tank, a dedicated healer/preist, a guide (ranger/marksman), an alchemist and/or a rogue. In terms of character archetypes, the party definitely lacks bloodlust and wanderlust.
Anyone else have any ideas for what the party lacks?
You might just give me ideas.

Well if it helps the party will be joined by Sorey (Raptoran) who has Archaeologist as his archetype with a focus on ranged combat (although he has flaws that make him have a rather poor morale) and the game starts with the party getting a letter from this character and meeting as a result.
If I was being honest the most interesting of characters you can probably make use of in this world is a Cleric or Holy Warrior of some nature whose God was wounded or slain during the events that transpired after the Night Serpent's Awakening.
And assuming the party succeeds all the characters will be pretty damn badass (without spoiling the End Game
)

A genderblender shifter who thinks they're a local protective diety (similar to a nine tails fox). Huh.
I don't generally like strongmen or zealous individuals. Religion, for me, is a weakness if you don't take to your beliefs with a grain of salt - so I typically think of these characters as "folly".
I still think going into ruins filled with traps without a rogue is a bad idea.

Huh. I just looked them up, apparently Beguilers can find and disarm magical traps. I don't play D&D, so I don't know how effective they are at doing this.
