About Made in Abyss,
I lol'd
Seriously, the cartoony appearance kills everything. I don't know how Rectangle-Cheeks broke the bone, you can't just snap a bone like that. And there's no way you'd inhale after having a broken bone, you would immediately scream in pain. Also, if these are kids, why does one sound like an adult, and the other with a voice that's way too high-pitched? Cutting meat does not make that much squishy noises, and the strokes are all off, pivoting a blade won't cut much. Apparently, having your arm cut badly doesn't hurt. EVIL DRAGONFLIES OF DOOM. The rounded face and teardrops made me chuckle.
So, ya, a cartoony character wearing a bunny cap kinda kills seriousness. I don't know if in Japan this is considered horror or what, but after reading a few comments, well, let's just say all those people would be easy targets for criminals.
"More importantly, would you roleplay a character who was white and used racial slurs against a different race?"
Damn right I would, NotFishing. I'd have no problem RPing as a white guy with blonde hair, blue eyes, and called black people niggers/porch monkeys/apes/"shrivel-up your lips!", Muslims pedophile-worshippers/muzzies/ragheads/eggheads/tell them to blow up/"Islam is a blast!", Asians chinks/slit-eyes, Hispanics illegals/pot-smokers, Hindus cow-fuckers, Native Americans "can't swim"/"Why aren't you on your reserve?", Jews as backstabbers, "Hitler was right!", and whatever else I can think of. It's easier to use racial slurs against the dark-skins than white people. Of course, none of that actually reflects who I actually am, I just have boldness.
Honestly, the main reason my threads don't go into the extremes, or that I don't go into the extremes, is because I can get banned for it, and I value my activity for the threads I am involved in. If we were in a forum with no rules, I'd make some pretty hardcore threads.
