I am having internet connection problems right now, I'm guessing because of the super storms buzzing around right now. Things don't load, or internet just stops. If I don't post tonight, I will do so tomorrow.

And yes, that's a peculiar fleet of stairs, West, imagine going down or up those!

Well I still don't know what you actually do mean.

EDIT: Do you mean, "Is the stairway a drop-down one, like someone would have attached to a trapdoor on an attic, or is it a static structure?" because I can't think of anything else you'd mean. If that is the case, it's a static structure.

Also someone may have just doomed any hope anyone has of actually getting weaponry in time. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I had a rather adventurous dream this morning, before waking up. There were large ships, galleons, and onboard were Renaissance era soldiers, knights, mercenaries, sailors, travellers, etc. The ocean they sailed had whirlpools, draconic sea monsters, and hostile ships, set into a rather chaotic battle. Eventually, the surviving ships reached land of a new world, but then I woke up. I think I recall seashores, marshes, and other monsters later on.

What was unusual, was that the ocean consisted of extremely slow water, as if the water was in slow-motion, but everything else wasn't. So, a ship sinking into a whirlpool would do so quite slowly. There was even one ship that went to the bottom of a whirlpool, then sailed back out.
