I was thinking of a new RP, based on a First World War-like environment, with fantasy elements. In this RP, all users start in a commander post, and are sent on missions, such as defending a beachhead in a pillbox, going overseas in a frigate or submarine, going through air in a zeppelin or place, driving through trenches in a tank, going underground to fight subterranean enemies or to cave-in structures atop ground level to allow other users to get through fortifications, and that sort of thing. I was also thinking that users take turns being the captain of a unit, which makes them like a secondary thread master, controlling the scenario, adding situations, planning strategy, that sort of thing. How does this sound?



Also, I may have to adjust As Demons Weeping, skipping the continental quests and going directly against the Demon God, as the thread is already over 1k posts and so does not have enough space to go through all seven continents.

You can just make a continuation thread if you wanted, where everyone just resumes posting where the other one left off. There's no rule that states you HAVE to finish the story of a thread in a single 2000 posts. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Oh ya, right, I could just make a second thread, to continue where we leave off.

Well, it seems I have two users who are positive about my thread idea, so I'll get started on it soon, see what I can do. Since most RPs have a medieval or futuristic environment, yet none on an early 20th century context, I thought it may be a good idea to start. WW1 is very interesting in that it mixed so many kinds of warfare, such as utilizing trenches, airplanes, zeppelins, gas attacks, metal body armour, machine guns, tanks, flamethrowers, and it was all just so crazy!

I'll see what I can do to start this thread, or at least get it going.

I'd be interested in something like that, but I'm with Inferior in that I'm not super comfortable with controlling much more than my own character (he says, and he GMs a thread of his own). It just feels like I'm wresting control from the owner, is all.

Capt: what are you thinking for Gary? Are you gonna put on a cybernetic arm, or just something simple?

I'm really trying to avoid the Department basically showing up in a dark alley and going "Hey kid, wanna sweet robot arm?"
