On a completely unrelated note. I just got a call from "Windows 10" headquarters in India.

I lol'd.

So did I. When I get pissed-off, I just swear and give death threats to scammers.

Perish the thought! Tech support were kind enough to call us, so it's only polite to be as difficult as possible. > :)

Hm, seems like everyone else isn't available thus far. In the meantime, is anyone interested in steampunk/atompunk/dieselpunk adventure of some sort? Since Wild, Wild West is a lore thread, I can easily use it to create smaller, simpler adventures. The lore thread is a merging of Fallout, Bioshock, pre-space Warhammer, and some Mad Max, steampunk, and fantasy themes. I really like my lore thread, as it has quite a few really cool pictures and many factions, races, and classes.

The idea takes place 200 years after the Nuclear Holocaust, of which Rapture and the Wasteland (North America) are the main areas, but Colombia is referenced. There is also a hidden plan for a primitive space-based area.

If anyone's interested, or has suggestions or ideas, we can discuss them here, and see what we can do. Users are free to post their ideas in the lore thread. I will be back from Prince George later today, and see what's happened.

I'm just waiting for Fish to post, unless he doesn't want to. I'd also love it if Fysyx came back, but I'm not going to hold out for too long on that unless I get something that says I should. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

I have to admit, I’ve never been big on apocalypse settings. They tend to focus more on the idea of who a person is in the dark… which is a moot point, because there are literally no lights in that metaphor.

EDIT: If I had to explain it, I would say that I find survival for survival's sake is boring. People need something to protect... something to fight over. Something that's more than themselves. Otherwise, they may as well sharpen some stone axes and go chase deer for the next 30,000 years until they go extinct.
