Eh, Daemon, demon, same thing for me. The main reason I merged the Warp with DOOM was to increase the type of enemies to face. Also, Doom aliens demons sometimes have guns, so that makes the fight more interesting, in my opinion.

Originally, I intended a bunch of Chaos Space Marines and swordsmen-Daemons to teleport in and charge recklessly, but I didn't want to overpower the users. This way, downgrading to killable DOOM monsters, thirty swordsmen Daemons, one Summoner, and several generic corrupted soldiers, is a much more reasonable.

Of course, if everyone prefers a different situation, I can remake the scene to something else.

God no, you don't need to remake it, I was just confused by how things had been set up.

I'm a little protective of 40K stuff, as you've probably noticed. Doing what I can to rein it in, don't take most of my mutterings too seriously.
I am Inferi.

I can still edit parts that seem a bit too confusing. I am trying to merge the idea of the Warp manipulating reality in small ways, allowing demonic things to take advantage for example.

OK, but you know Warhammer way better than I do, so I still listen to you for the core topics. But ya, I just wanted the difficulty to be gradual, not too hard or too minor. Gradually, the action within (and then outside) of Icarus Rising will get more intense, more wild, and more widespread, involving the Mass Effect-based frigates, it'll be cool! I hope...
