About modern fantasy,
So, like fantasy settings in a modern world? The closest I did to that was my dieselpunk First World War thread, but it didn't really work out the way I planned, and currently does not seem to be active. I was thinking that maybe large-scale (global-based setting) just doesn't work out too well.

Thing I like about modern fantasy (or urban fantasy, rather) is the closeness to home, so to speak. I enjoy the concept of roleplaying supernatural goings on in an urban environment, whether in secret or publically. I am Inferi.

nvm then. If anyone's interested, I am online in Skype right now. My name there is Jonathan Pouliot-Konopka, the exact same as most other places. I'm glad that my Venezuelan friend added me, so she's alive, and that's good. Venezuela isn't going good; long live Venezuela.

Anyways, did I ever mention I am creating my own language? it's about 10% done, I finished most common pronouns, adverbs, comparatives, and so on. It's a simple language, based on various war chants of ancient cultures, a mix of Latin, Greek, Slavic, and African sounds of wording. However, it follows the European style of accent, so you roll the tongue, and at times, you must also make noises by clicking the tongue, exhaling through the nose, hissing, growling, and even speaking while you pull your lips back (to expose the teeth). It's meant to be an animalistic language, of which you utilize various combinations normally not found in human languages.
