Proximity to actual reapers or reaper artefacts - things you would think abundant in a place under the direct command of a reaper.

Oh, right. I forgot that the artifacts had the same effect. It's been too long since I've played, and I probably don't remember as much as I should.

In Mass Effect 1, there was a dungeon on a planet where some miners uncovered dragons teeth. In the period of several days, they all got together and had the bright idea to impale themselves. The theme continues in Mass Effect 2, where the dead reaper began playing tricks on the cerberus agents (who likely met the same fate).

I must admit, I still have a cold shiver thinking about the implications of these levels.

Yeah, I remember both of those situations, and I completely agree with you. The rational part of my mind keeps scoffing at how anyone could do something like that, but I know that it's not really a conscious decision that got made. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Don't do it, Annie. You don't have the high ground.

And we all know how THAT ends.

Not if you play the bad ending of Revenge of the Sith. :P

Every ending is bad because the movie is bad.

*Shrugs* It wasn't THAT bad imo, and definately not as bad as it could have been.

Of course, I'll agree there. There's plenty of movies that are 100% worse.

*cough* Harry Potter *cough*

My main problem with it was just the way they did Anakin's transformation. It just seemed very bleh to me, and I guess I just didn't enjoy the movie that much.

I'm partway through the SC post, but I'm falling asleep and it'll be awful - or even more awful than normal - if I finish it now so I'll save it for tomorrow.
