Alright, history section is done.

I did a quick numbers crunch, and the world is approximately 1,526 years old. Oh well, gods accelerated the technological and societal progress anyways.

So, I think the Lore Thread is done.

There might be a few errors (I used Plain instead of Plane on multiple occasions) or minor inconsistencies. I'll have to work that out. I also have room for another section - maybe it will be a summary when we actually start finishing threads?

Anyways, I'm currently trying to think of a plot for the next thread.

So, question for you all:

Should Necromancy be Faith Magic, or Mana Magic?

Because the way it currently works (Dark Faith Magic), you pretty much have to be evil in order to use it, which removes the possibility of good or neutral necromancers.

Or maybe I will make it both. You can bind your soul to Orito, or if you already have magic you can access it naturally.

Perhaps a style of magic or faith magic that comes from the Caretakers?

Death could see some use in giving a little Necromancy.

Thing is, the Caretakers don't really care enough to grant mortals power. Their first concern is their specific duty, and their second concern is ensuring that the world as a whole continues existing. They don't care how much you worship them or wish to serve their interests.

It's certainly something to consider, but I'm not sure what would fit. Death would be anti-necromancy, since it is of the opinion that the dead should stay dead.
