I think I have a character idea for Fog, but I'm wondering if it's a little too futuristic or even lorefitting. The concept is somewhat similar to what they use in Avatar; the ability to full dive into preset artificial body. I'm pretty sure there was a b-grade film about a similar topic, but can't remember its name off the top of my head.
In a world where nobody knows how to maintain high level technology and the urban centers are abandoned, I imagine people would make money by salvaging what they can from the city. To do this, they would use cheap labor - and one such company happened upon this technology that not only made their workers stronger, it also allowed them to work for longer.
The question, I guess, is how to give such a character the motivations to join another plot.

West,
That's a peculiar idea, you are free to work it into Fog if you can, but you may need to be crafty and clever. I suppose we can assume that the cities used to be, say, more technologically advanced, but most of the technologies were destroyed, salvaged, or hidden by this time, or maybe even a greater government resides elsewhere in a utopia?
