Hmm. I wouldn't anticipate the Blade Tribe being on great terms with your Iron Tribe, although I won't deny I would like Amber to have participated in some of the tournaments if for no better reason than to have her be somewhat of an established person. She was the slave soldier of one of the chieftans, though, so smaller tournaments would probably be a reasonable thing for her to have been in.
Rewards for the smaller tournaments generally consist of bragging rights, the grudging respect of the townspeople, and free drinks. I imagine she would be into that last bit, at the very least.
How many tournaments has she won? If she has been doing it for a while, she might even have been given some citizenship rights.
Also, Wolf, pls answer the question. I'm about to post.

Well, she's 26, started being on her own about 7 years ago...and she'd probably be participating from when she was about 12 onwards, so I'd imagine she's been in, and won, at least 7 (1 per year seems reasonable, especially since he would want to show off the greatest swordsman the tribe had ever produced).
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

Which may or may not include sending an assassin to deal with Annie, so she can't report back home. Still waiting for Wolf's permission to do that, because I feel like I'm being too liberal in the use of my own NPCs. That may be going a step too far, but it's also something that the character would do.
Context: referring to the lengths Kalmar's son would go to to protect his tribe.

You can send an assassin but he could fail or someone can help Annie. The prince seems like the type that would go behind his fathers back and do something like that. I don't see anything wrong with it as long as you don't kill Annie unless she gives permission.
