I've decided to have Lizardmen exist as well. Although that's kinda weird, considering how I already have the Draconians...
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
I think a half human, half elf sounds like a good idea!

Would greatly appreciate race suggestions.

You can never go wrong with sphinxes and sentient giant spiders.
I suppose the question is how far out of normality are you wishing to go. You can have relatively well known but underused species like minotaurs and Cyclopes', (the advantage of which is that their cultures haven't been definitively established by popular culture so you could have some real fun with them,) or you could go further afield and have things like snakemen and jellyfishmen. If you're wanting to incorporate distinct cultural similarities between Echion and Earth-based mythology, I'd recommend going down the route of turning the design of Anubis into a race. People love dogs too and Anubis is the primary god of edgy teens so it could be lucrative.
I'm also partial to crabmen invaders who have already seized domination of the ocean floor and are now sweeping over the land as well.
Their leaders are secretly mind-enthralled by Ithilids

I just realized that Cirion probably could have talked the centaurs out of that suicidal charge on ITF.
Maybe Angel was trying to have me slowly build an army to drive Soahc back, and I just blew it?
The potential is there. It's been a while since that scene so it's up in the air how successful Cirion would have been. At the end of the day though I'll allow pretty much anything to happen in ITF so long as it seems believable from a character perspective.

And... Maybe.
Looking back on it, Cirion
did
put forth a convincing argument. Something along the lines of "They've destroyed multiple towns and no one has been able to stop them. Maybe you should gather more information or find a place to defend?"
I suppose he should have put more emphasis on the danger the army posed.
