Welp, 15 minutes from now I have a Skype interview for a camp counselor position for over the summer. I'm very nervous since they blocked off an hour and I'm already super anxious meeting new people and omg these could be my new bosses for a few weeks and oh god what if I forget how to speak a human language oh no

Edit: I have makeup on and it looks very 20's-esque and I love it but I can also feel my heart racing so I am afraid I'll smudge it help

Actually now that it's over I feel great. The people interviewing me very early on said that the whole thing would be very informal (they're interviewing for a camp counselor position, after all, not a professional career). They also kept the jokes going and just overall kept a nice atmosphere that helped to calm my nerves as much as they could be calmed while still knowing I'm being judged for a job lol. I feel pretty good about my chances of getting it too! I'll find out mid-March if I've been offered the job.

Nice! I'd say that you've got a good shot if the atmosphere felt good (although this is just going off the in-person interview for the job I have now, which had a good atmosphere as well) and if it's informal then I imagine it was a lot easier to feel like you were doing well than if a couple people in suits were staring menacingly at you.

Still, congratulations on getting the interview in the first place, and although I know it's gonna be a while before you know, good luck! Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
