Ancient and Not,
I think it'd be a good idea to work on your role-play ideas, as that way, you are forced to do something, putting your creativity and imagination to use. It's still work, and considering the long waiting periods we currently have, I don't see any problem with a few more role-plays. Every idea put out counts as work and effort, keeping the flow of activity going.

Anyways, I think Scions of Sorcery is compete. I updated a few more things overall, and added many more pictures as much as I could. The thread is overall quite interactive, and you don't really have to read much, as staring at the pictures gives you enough imagery and content to have an idea of what's going on. There's still a few reserves, so if anyone has any ideas or requests, feel welcome to go for it.

I may make a character for Azi's thread.

His primary motivation will be to rule the entire world.

All of it.

Nobody knows his name, he has no support, and no followers.

But he's going to get there, goddammit.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

Fun fact:

The Skyrim Orsimer (Orcs) were originally Altmer (High Elves.) One day, the Daedric Prince Boethiah convinced a large portion of them to leave Summerset Isle behind, and go form their own civilization. This group became known as the Chimer (which would later become the Dunmer), and they promptly left the nation.

But before they left, the Altmer god, Trinimac, challenged Boethiah. The two fought, and Trinimac was defeated. Boethiah then proceeded to eat Trinimac, and after digestion took its course, Boethiah proceeded to poop him out. The poop then became Malacath, Daedric Prince of Curses and Outcasts. A large portion of Trinimac's followers refused to abandon him, even after he was changed, and for some reason they ended up changing as well - they became the Orcs.

Moral of the story: Don't worship poop.

Just thought I'd share this. Since Azi used pictures from Skyrim for his Orc description, and the Orcs from the Elder Scrolls series are pretty cool.

Oh, ya, don't worship poop.

Thanks for sharing, I was never big in video game lore, I seem incapable of understanding it.

But yes, I do have several images from Skyrim, as Imgur wasn't as vast as I expected, forcing me to compromise what was available, so I have a mix of characters from video games, artwork, toys, and even real-life photos/cosplay.

I wanted to make all the races biologically possible, so gave them Latin or Greek names and this and that, even taking into consideration their biological capabilities to reflect strengths and weaknesses. But, I didn't put any aquatic races, like mermaids or Zora-like races, as I felt aquatic characters just wouldn't work with the majority of land-based content, and there aren't any plant-people or tree-people, nor crustacean-people, nor steampunk elements (like wooden mechs or magical machines). Nevertheless, I think I did most kinds of races you can get in regards to fantasy earthly environments, I just excluded angels, demons and dragons as being playable races, instead only allowing users to transform into them, to avoid overpowered characters. Though, some magical disciplines are quite overpowered at tier 3 anyways.

I just updated a few aspects of the generic magics, to make them stronger, seeing as their provided descriptions were rather vague. It's better now.

Updated a few more things in the thread: fixed typos and wording mostly. Brought Gargoyles up to the Bronze Age.
