Did you read the outro in Broken World? If not, do so, and leave a comment on what you'd like next to happen. I will then try to merge all material thus far into the next stage.



In the meantime, I will be making two new role-plays. First, a generic fantasy role-play with detailed (but most info being optional) races, factions, magic, classes, spells, and abilities, revolving around ''scions'' (descendants of a powerful family, who are the ''chosen ones'' of the thread). This role-play is meant to push the limits we have seen so far in other role-playing threads, and each user character will have an incorporated backstory, as well as an additional companion I submit for that user, of which the backstory will be a major feature of the role-play. This way, I will personally be involved with every singe user at a personal and unique manner. All backstories of all users will eventually merge towards the finale of the role-play, including the companions I provide for each character.

Next, the other role-play I have in mind is one of operatives: spies, agents, infiltrators, saboteurs, contract killers, terrorists, and any other form of irregular warfare, set in a post-modern environment. Users role-play as an agent working for an institute or organization of some kind as a team, and are sent on various missions that includes espionage, infiltration, hacking, assassination, sabotage, and generic spy stuff. Basically, based on what you see in James Bond, the Mass Effect franchise, the Splinter Cell franchise, and whatnot. It will involve ''levels'' that need to be progressed through, gradually uncovering a greater conspiracy.

Hm, I think werewolves are an unpopular concept currently here, considering the dislike of my own own. Mafias consisting of vampires and werewolves, while earth is ruled by aliens, feels out of place. However, in Wattpad, I noticed a popular set in a story is to have mafia-like families living in extremely lavish and wealthy mansions in the middle of nowhere, complete with servants and perfectly handsome and muscular men and absolutely fragile beautiful women who can't get anything done on their own, and alphas and betas of werewolves or lords and princes of vampires, amidst a war between the races that's never explored. I found it peculiar that, in Wattpad, every single "damsels in distress who treat jerks like gods" story I read was always made by female authors. Considering all of this, I think the users in this forum are not inclined to werewolves; you'd be better off making this idea into a story in Wattpad. That's understandable, and I might have made a mistake involving aliens. But as for the mafia, I was considering including tropical, urban and polar varieties. Tropical werewolves could be martial artists, super-fast and using great skill up close, but taking more damage and not quite as good with guns. Polar and tundra ones, on the other hand, could have thick coats and a layer of blubber which slows them down but also protects them from the cold and attacks, being masters with guns, machines and bombs as well as ambush tactics. Vampires I'm not sure of yet, but I'm planning on attuning them to magical warfare and taking fights on the wing, while werewolves battle on the ground. Also the dons would have special powers of their own and use custom Magnum revolvers. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

Servants may come as well, in the form of captured animals or humans seeking some form of refuge or security in the wake of the depression. And I also came up with the idea of these servants occasionally being forced to fight to the death in some cases, with the winners being recruited by a bite from one of the members. The victim would awaken and become an initiate, before hunting for food and honing their skills until they become soldiers. And some get lucky enough to rise to capos or even underbosses, who are the only members able to challenge the dons themselves for control of the family.

The supreme don of the area who is the strongest of all families both vampire and werewolf, would be known as the Blood Don of their continent. Blood Dons access an ancient ritual to attain power so awesome that they become the equivalent of Superman to their species, with only a Don's magnum or equivalent to outside parties able to kill them. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

I finally got around to finishing one of those :Re stories. It just so turns out that if you go back in time AND know the future, directly countering any serial murder's plot is a great way to end up on the chopping block yourself.

The dwarf comment was mostly a joke, but this comment took me by surprise. I got the impression somewhere that the thread was world war one themed. If I knew it took place two decades later, I would have given Dirk a few American Mk-2 frags instead of the good ol' suicide sticks used in the trenches.

As for what I want to see in Broken World... I'm going to be honest, I need to regain some interest in Dirk before I continue his character. The plot for the first arc felt so... resolved - there was nobody to blame, no real plot behind it and no real emotions to break. Shit just hit the fan and that was it.

I think it could be interesting to see future relations between Annie and Dirk, but if it's resolved in a clean cut manor, it'll just be milking the thread in my honest opinion.

Oh, OK.

Yes, that's what Broken World is as well, WW1 but also mixing the 20s and earlier. Broken World is a much, much bigger role-play than it appears, and was intended to take place globally, but two users sort of dwindled away.

Originally, Broken World was meant to be a squad-based role-play, which has players sent on missions. However, the two other users involved disappeared when they were about to do just that. So, I edited the thread, making it more open-ended.

You can also post a new bio. Users can post as many bios they want, I don't mind.

Anyways, my next RP I've worked on for the past nine hours, I've literally worked on it all day, surprised how fast time went by. It's about halfway done, but a vast majority of what I typed is optional and does not need to be read. Looks like I may need another day to finish it.
