Hm, activity seems to have dwindled yet again, which is a shame, I was excited from the boost of activity Wolf initiated. With that in mind, I think that simpler role-plays with a basic but open-ended quest are more likely to be popular. Considering Wolf's successful style, I was thinking about trying to recreate that form in a new role-play (seeing as activity plummeted).
My next role-play involves the user characters have their own automatic backstory: every character dreams or has a vision of what will happen in the future, and so by fate, are driven to fulfill their destiny, who eventually form into one group, and then involving defeating several powerful beings/factions, meeting several NPC-like heroes who are critical to the quest yet will have their own agendas that may trigger PvP or NPC conflict, and an ending of which there can be only one victory, who then decrees the epilogue: the fate of the world. The users' characters' backstories will also impact the role-play, and serving as a driving force as well that I will correlate into the role-play or crossover during role-playing.
I had in mind a typical setting of casual fantasy (all equipment must be pre-1699), mixing themes of Ancient Greece, the bible, medieval Europe, and so on. The role-play won't be too complex or long, instead racing characters through various scenarios, to keep the users on their toes. The use of Imgur images will also help.
Nevertheless, does anyone have any comments or suggestions to help boost/recover/prolong activity?
