Wolf, I just read Aylin's bio again, and noticed that it said bows and arrows are useless due to the lack of light.

But surely humans would have evolved to have better eyesight by now? Or at the very least, their eyes would have long since adjusted.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

The obvious way to do stealth is to take the Far Cry 3 approach, and throw an infinite number of rocks that you pulled from the deepest of Abysses to distract everyone while you stand out in the open and laugh at their lack of skill noticing you. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

That naval RP does sound good Not, I take it the users would be allowed to create their own environment? For example, what kind of natives are we dealing with, or does the user controlling that sacred island create the kind of native (Aztecs, Native Americans, African tribals, Maroons, etc.)?

Moonlight does certainly obscure your aiming, but as Not just said, humans probably developed good eyes to adjust to the darkness, so moonlight would be enough for minuscule vision. Of course, torches, fire, lanterns, and bioluminescent fungus would work, too.

I suppose throwing rocks in darkness would somewhat work, but people generally don't investigate such noises. We all know what a thrown rock sounds like.
