Inferi, I was curious about your Redux RP. Is it possible to make a doctor experimenting on himself? The character I had in mind was writing up a thesis until he went into stasis, and woke up with little memory left.

And Azi, I would like to say a little bit about Negotius' combat abilities. He's basically like a cross between Lisa Trevor from Resident Evil and Brook from One Piece. In effect this makes him a fast fencer who uses tentacles to defend himself, and is highly intelligent. And as for the rituals, I mentioned explosives and supportive magics, but later I will get him using different effects. The drawback to him is that he lacks raw firepower, but he makes up for it with his speed and defence. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

It really depends on what exactly he was doing to experiment on himself. If you were going for the "giving himself abilities", then I am afraid it would not work due to how the abilities end up being given to people. Basically, he wouldn't have access to how it happens.

Also, it makes a difference how you planned to write out what you do. I'm going to be honest, what you've been doing on Demons Weeping would not fly here, since that is basically using someone else's world to write a story and it's just not a coherent means of going along with a story such as this. I've never watched either of those films, so I can't use them as an analogy for Negotius. But OK, he's a fast fencer, and has magic and extending organs. Considering the swampy environment, he would not have much of a means to utilize footwork, though.

As Inferi mentioned, and as I said before, you are essentially posting a story (a fanfic) on my thread, which I don't have a problem with, as Wasted somewhat did that, and I do like how you add new content and use storytelling. The only reason I intervened is because I don't want you or Wasted to stray-off and spend lots of time typing out something that isn't related to the RP's focus, as then you'd be basically wasting your time. Think of it as “going with the flow” with me, as we are doing now

I don't blame you for anything; when I started RPing, I also repeated specific mistakes and rule-breaking, so don't feel pressured. Just think of it as “going with the flow” with me, as we are doing in the swampy forest.

I will be leaving soon, tho.

OK, thanks. I was a bit worried that you would be bored with what I was doing, so I thought of spicing things up slightly. The truth is, I'm a bit of a mixed bag when it comes to stories and stuff, which is why I added the love story of Shalid, and since he's a minor character, it all adds to the twist.

I was thinking more along the lines of experimenting to understand the nature of his studies rather than actually giving him abilities. But then something goes wrong and the experiments get tampered with. And this is where you can put in anything you like in terms of abilities. As for the guy's psych and history, I have a few notes on them which I might reveal later. Prepare for hell on RuneScape in Naval Cataclysm!

Soooo what are you trying to make his studies be, exactly? I'm trying to figure out how exactly you're trying to fit in here, because it feels as though it's not going to be incredibly cohesive with the journey of the rest of the characters. Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.
