But no one wants you to leave

atm, I can think of 1.

I'm pretty sure if we called it to a vote, the vast majority would want you to stay. And even if the vast majority wanted you out you should still stay regardless, because voting people out is stupid and you have every right to be here. And Annie never told you to leave, just to stop asking her to write stories.

That's good to hear; I will try to make his weaknesses more apparent somehow.

Oops, I made a mistake; Mechanical is not always on fire, but his machinery is red-hot, that's what I meant. Since his internal machinery is always red-hot, if it heats up too much and goes into a molten state, and so begins melting, the machinery will break and he stops. When Kira summoned a fire lance capable of destroying a building into Mechanical, his furnace absorbed it; this was a hint that, like real-life metal, it will absorb heat, get hotter, overheat, then gradually melt. Iron begins to melt at around a thousand degrees Celsius.

The reason I did not specifically display the weaknesses was because Inferi alluded in my RP ADW (a few months ago or so) that there was no chance to think for oneself, so I left-out direct hints, to allow users to think for themselves. I thought I should have applied that for everyone. But ya, I will try to have a stronger emphasis on the weaknesses in the future.

Sad when you have an epiphany hit you.

My appoligies Annie if a ruffled your feathers. But it would have been nice to see your creativity or goofiness or your poetic soul outside of RPs.

But it seems my time has come one way or the other.

Have fun roleplaying.

No need for follow up posts.

Truthfully, Azi, I haven't been paying 100% attention to your posts. I've read them and have a basic idea, but I haven't committed them to memory because they don't involve my characters and there is so much else going on. Actually acting on the information in your posts would be metagaming.

Also I'm pretty sure that at one point I suggested you can just inflict enough 'pain' that he would be unable to think straight. Would that work too?

And what would happen if Spirry lost a limb?

Honestly, I thought that his weaknesses would be obvious.

I think the roleplayers themselves are aware, but not necessarily the characters, (or if they are, they can do nothing about it.) Alania and Sir Charles both have zero magical capabilities for example, so them knowing Spirry's weakness doesn't help them much.

At any rate, if I feel that there is a problem with character powers then I will step in. It's always the case that some characters turn out to be inherently on a higher tier than others. I've accounted for this and made sure that it will not negatively impact the climax of the thread.

Annie views questions as threatening, unless she is asking them. This is a psychological defense mechanism some people have; when they get a question, they have to think about it, and so are threatened by it, as they view it as a challenge. In the future, none of us should ask her questions whatsoever unless they are questions she asks herself.

That's a bit presumptuous, isn't it?

I don't blame you. I don't know where to draw the line between power-playing or metagaming.

Yes, I suppose enough pain would distract him from thinking straight, much like how real-life pleasure distracts us from thinking, somewhat like an addiction.

If he lost a limb, he would no longer have that limb. It would regrow, eventually, over the course of several days or so. If he lost a leg, he would be unable to walk, but could stills crawl and fly. His wings don't seem difficult to cut through, tho.

D F Angel,
I see, it seems Mechanical spoke to the wrong people, but Soahc, the woods witch, and Alicia know his weaknesses. Big Fat may also know his weakness as I recall she mentioned her felt the dream taint.

I am confident it would work. I have met many people who act like Annie in real-life, so I am convinced that we should not ask her questions, to prevent a challenge from appearing. I am using inductive reasoning to get to this conclusion, but yes, it may be presumptuous.
