Plus, I'm a little worried for the forum.
At least 20% of the threads are locked or hidden. The OP's haven't been on to reclaim them in years.

Folks like you Azi have mostly migrated offsite for your writing.

My suggestion to move the RP crew to the Games Forum was also something to prove a point of how dead this forum is.
Take you dozen or so out, and this forum would have 0 movement.
You could go a week and see maybe a bump.
A month could pass and nothing would get off the first page.

One more attack like we had early last year where some group started spamming like crazy and killed off several pages worth of stories, and Jmods might as well lock this whole forum up and toss it out.
We already get into the "grave bump" issue here, yet unlike other forums, you could argue that some of the story threads are actually worth keeping.

If we can't even salvage the decent stuff, what's the point?

Been a little burned out on the forums of late and been tempted to send the account in 1 blaze of glory: bumping any old threads in this forum with several hundred posts on them, to give them 1 more lease on life.

At least the account getting permabanned on the forums would be for a worthy cause.

They tried that with the Story Forum, and it hasn't made much of a difference. We only picked up like two or three people. Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.

I actually do appreciate the short stories you put up, Sir Eos, and I'd rather not lose you. I know that roleplaying has gentrified the forums somewhat, but I'd like to see a lot more stories around. I'll start contributing some, so long as you keep yourself tame. I did read what you posted on my Runescape thread too; it was very well written. They say there is a demon in that cave. He comes in periodically to posses spelunkers and force them to kill their friends, all the while cursed to forever seek the exit for eternity...

... I think there was a thriller based on that. O_o


EDIT: I was just reading Allen's ability, and had a thought- what if someone actually had the ability to duplicate themselves. Not like shadow clones, more like actually duplicating themselves, as in make real copies that shared the same experiences and feelings up until they were created.

Think about that for a moment - if you used such an ability, how would you ever know if you were the original?

I wonder if such a superpower has turned up before. O_o
