No Capt, that's not what I mean. She didn't like Protestants, so what I said does not need a changed meaning, neither does yours; our points are right. Speaking of which, quite a few people were executed by being burned to death overseas, probably for a similar reason.
There is a difference, though. Saying she executed people because she didn't like them really tells you nothing. Who did she dislike? Why did she dislike them? Should World War 2 be summed up as "The Germans didn't like a bunch of people, so they declared war on them"? It can be, but that really tells you almost nothing about the conflict.
Fair warning: I'm not trying to turn this into a religious argument, if that's where you think this is heading. I was simply trying to make a correction. It's best to just let the topic go before it escalates further.

So, Azi, Venom, Emo, what are your thoughts on a Kingdom of Karrus remake, but with magic and a Sorusian Empire that isn't nearly as overpowered?
To briefly explain the magic system: Everyone has access to four fields of magic - the basic elements of Air, Water, Earth, and Fire. However, you also have an additional field that only your civilization knows - it can be anything. Electricity, Necromancy, Telekinesis, Enchantments, Barriers, etc. But really overpowered things like Physics, Mind Control, Time Magic, etc. are off limits.
Once you pick up a field of magic, no one else is allowed to start with it. However, you can teach it to other civilizations if you wish.
In order to learn a new field, you must get another civilization to teach you theirs. This could encourage diplomacy, trading one field of magic for another. But if someone possesses something like Enchantment, and does not wish to give up their monopoly on enchanted goods, then you can try to invade - steal their tomes and kidnap their most powerful mages to torture for their secrets. Stuff like that.
Beneath the gold, the Bitter Steel.
