In fairness, I was much surprised that our two forums were fused rather than just obliterated. I started roleplaying on here ten years ago, I won't deny that it would be quite upsetting for me. We'd have to migrate somewhere as a collective, I suppose, but either way we'd lose all of those old RPers/Story writers that turn up every so often, because they wouldn't know where it was they had to go.

Before the roleplaying forums were made, roleplaying did take place in the Off-Topic Forum. We got the new forum because there were too many roleplayers polluting Off Topic, haha.
Oh, and it is very much a defining roleplayer character trait to have a distrust for moderators. Or maybe I'm just saying that because most of the roleplayers I know got banned at various times. I think everyone here, (that is a roleplayer,) was around long enough to watch the Alpha Base wars. Essentially, not having a forum moderator who understood the rules, (because Mod Mark H never bothered to put them into writing, but had been enforced by Innue, Nauset, Na***r, Smowy, Demither and the rest,) lead to a lot of chaos and a lot of people being wrongfully banned.
