As threadowner, I'm afraid I must remain objective and not weigh in on the issue.
You have sparked a party conflict, sir. At least half of the group are going to have to forcibly subdue the other half.
Done in by the dubious doings of destiny.

So Kuro is gambling with Azul now, or playing chicken with him. Who will back off first? Or will they both die?

Ryokin and the Pyromistress left to do what they want in the village...
Poor, Poor Village, nothing but ashes and destruction will be left
I would be quite impressed if Kuro sacrificed himself to defeat Azul, but it would also be very sad to see him go. Still, there's a lot going on, so who knows what'll happen! I mean, I
do
have a plan for the thread, but you guys throw me so many curveballs with your posts that it's just as much of a surprise for me as it is for you!
As for Ryokin and Kira... Yeah, that's not going to be pretty. I'm really pleased with how Team Evil has turned out, they're very varied with their skillset and personalities, and all clearly quite powerful without going for the generic copouts you usually see.
Poor village indeed.

I'm off to see my mum for Mother's Day, so I'll be back for Into the Fire later tonight.
That's fine man, there's no rush. I hope you enjoy your day!

The whole situation is getting interesting. A whole argument about 'freeing the demon' Kuro's gamble, All this energy mixing together, Azul's energy, Kuro's energy, Siera's energy, Annie's powers trying to free Azul. Joric's brute force. Rovaan's powers and brute force.
So much going on in one little area that just develops into a nice little story.
Well I'm glad you're enjoying it. My main fear is that you guys are still posting because you've invested so much time into it, rather than because you're still enjoying the story, haha.
