No verbal response was returned as Daskal was drawn from his sheath and rushed towards the man in a forward stab. A burst of magic stopped the blade in its tracks caused by some body, nature, and earth runes. The clash dispersed and the boy quickly moved in for an upward, vertical slash, but was again stopped mid swing by the same stunning force. This time a counter attack was in store in the form of a close range burst of water directed at the boy's face.
The two now had a much larger gap. Leaving no time to recover, the wise mage lobbed a barrage of earth attacks at his opponent in no particularly organized fashion. The boy dodge rolled to the side and leapt up to his feet. He took off in a semicircle sprint around his target and shot off bolts of fire periodically as he worked his way to the opposite side of where he originally was.
"Quite energetic, especially after that beating you just took from the ruffian in the street," taunted the cloaked man. "Are you still going by 'The Boy' or did you ever settle upon a true name by any chance?"
The boy wiped beads of sweat from his forehead. "Funny you should ask," He laughed, "I've actually been going by the name Tash ever since I met you; just so that I'd never forget your name."
"I must say, I don't recall knowing any other Tash's my whole life. This is a sort of nice twist, yet also takes away some of my originality." The original Tash dug around inside the pockets of his coat. "But since it's been so long since the two of us spoke, why don't I show you some of the new tricks I've discovered?"
Tash slapped his palm against the ground to spike out a clump of earth in the shape of a little man. The skill of his sheer creative talents was magnificent. The curves and edges were so smooth; the details were so intricate, all the way down to the slots on the top of its head.
