Tash pointed behind them to his tent. "Did you see all those papers in the back of my tent?" Rosco replied with a nod. "A majority of those have different spells scribbled all over them. They've all got specific rune measurements, how much magical force is needed to make it work, what the spell actually does, how effective it can be in particular situations, theories on how to expand upon them." He sighed and put his free hand to his face as he tipped it back. "The world of runes and magic appears to be nearly endless. I'm not even sure if we’ve found all of the existing rune stones."
Rosco(f) collapsed to the ground with his face to the sky. The sky was a smooth, bright blue and the sense of morning was almost already gone. "This is all just so crazy." Tash's attention focused on his lounging partner. "I mean, it feels like I'm still asleep. I've spent nearly my whole life completely clueless of these things' existence." His eyes squinted as a ray of sunlight caught them. "Living with wolves out in the forest doesn't really involve you with a lot of the happenings around towns, especially with the closest one being that Fremennik town. They're really not gonna' have a clue when it comes to this magic stuff."
Tash bent his knees to get closer down to Rosco. "Well you’ve certainly got that right." He looked over in the direction of the sun with a hand over his eyes like a visor. "Those Fremenniks never really seemed like the type to be experimenting, or liking them for that matter. According to some talk about history I've picked up on my travels, the humans discovered runes and their secrets a long while back. The little stones gave them quite the edge when it came to battles for territory, but most barbarian tribes rejected the use of runes altogether. I think it's a mix of my curiosity and my mysterious natural talent with magic that draws me to them."
