Tash leaned forward supporting his body with his arms behind him. "So like I asked before, how'd you get all the way out here?" a cold tone masked his voice.
A soft breeze flew over the camp as Magenta sat down in the dirt. Her eyes scanned over the nearby friend of hers. He had grown a great deal since the last time they had met, but it was not only his body that had grown, the aura of loneliness he had was much larger as well.
"It was my father's fault of course," Magenta hesitated, "well, I guess that's sort of a lie. Lately my father has been experimenting in teleportation magic. He's developed some theories about which runes would lead where, but he's been cautious with testing them. I on the other hand decided to be adventurous, and it must've been somewhere around a week ago that I picked up some runes that his notes claimed would teleport in the Varrock region, two fires and two laws to be exact. If I ever make it back I'll be able to tell him he was wrong, seeing as I ended up off in the mountains to the east somewhere, and from there I was captured by a mob of trolls. Those cursed beasts kept me locked in a cage planning to cook me in a stew. Luckily I broke out of their wretched den, and then after being chased for a while, I ended up out here."
The boy sighed while letting his arms slip forward and his body fall back onto the ground. "That man, Tash, from back when we were kids told me that if I ever wanted to find him he'd be in the west. That was the first thing I did once he disappeared, along with you. Getting from Varrock to Falador alone was hard enough, then making it through the mountains, infested with wolves, after getting past there I didn't think I could go much farther, so I settled down out here and started taking odd jobs related to magic to both harden my skills and keep a look out for Tash."
"And you still never got a name?" asked Magenta.
