"I can only hope that will hold him," Tash murmured. His hopes shattered as beams of light started to show through the holes between the rocks. A wave of fire the size of the cavern itself engulfed the rocks and torched them all to ash. "Oh yeah...he can do that." Once the soot cleared from the air space Tash was seized by a hand on his chest and carried off backwards. His entire body was in the air and flying out of the cave at increasingly swift speeds. He could see that the dragon mage had released his wings to a certain extant to be able to fly efficiently and had Tash in his grasp.
"Although I clearly have the advantage down here, I can't stand fighting in this cramped space." The mage glanced down to Tash who was held tightly in his hand. The time it took to walk through the cave was significantly greater than the time it took to fly, and in what seemed like only seconds light was already starting to pour into the abyss. The mage watched Tash move his hand towards the satchel strapped to the back of his waist. "Well that won't do. I can't have you shooting little magic blasts at me; even if they will prove ineffective." He reached around Tash with his free hand and tore the satchel from his belt then dropped it to the floor as they flew past.
The exit to the surface was now above them, and the dragon man took a sharp curve upwards to emerge from the dark crevice into the night sky. He laughed menacingly as he kept on soaring vertically through the open air. He halted his ascent roughly two hundred feet up from the ground, and steadily patted up and down with his wings. "I must say, you were a very fun opponent, but I must end this here. Have a good trip," the mage said comically as he released his grip on Tash’s shirt to let him plummet back down to the earth.
