Hours went by without Azura even noticing as she eagerly filled in the gaps. "What're you doing?" A blood soaked Aiden said dropping down next to her.

"Updating my journal." She said without pausing. "What smells bad?" she asked looking around and sniffing the air.

"Probably the dead Suqahs. They're in the early stages of rotting now. Probably doesn't help the smell since we skinned a few of them."

"Okay, well you're blocking my light, could you please move a little?" Aiden laughed and pushed her journal down with his index finger, and then pointed to the horizon. The sun was almost gone. "...Oh, we've been here all day?" He nodded as his brother got done skinning the last suqah and folding up the hides, to more easily transport them.

"We better get going, before they lock us out. Then we'll have to pull off some kind of dramatic break in and cause a lot of problems, and people will most likely be killed... and it just won't be good." Caden licked the blood off his hands, and motioned for his brother to help him carry the hides. The crimson liquid that splashed itself on them while fighting was beginning to make them feel frozen. The cold winds and dried blood weren't comfortable on the face and made their hands feel numb. The three marched on towards the town off in the distance, and it was completely dark before they made it. The two guards looked at them briefly.

"Suqah hide?" One of them asked.

"Aye."

"What's it to you?" the brother replied.

"Take it to the seamstress tomorrow, she'll pay good money for it. She shouldn't be hard to find." the guard ended the conversation and they moved on. They quickly spotted Lowe and Forrest talking next to the small bank, they both looked very clean.

"There you are!" Lowe shouted "We were wondering... what the hell have you been doing?" the brothers merely grimaced.

"Suqah hunting!" Azura excitedly said, hopping slightly, causing her hair to fall into her face, which she quickly fixed.

"Well whatever, you two need to clean up, dinner is in fifteen minutes, and I don't think the lunar folk will like you getting blood all over their things." the two grunted in a manner that reminded Forrest of a boar, and they strolled away towards the public bath.

"Them two, in a public bath, with lunar folk?" Forrest chuckled "This just ain't gone be pretty."

"Well I'm cold, and going inside." Azura said hopping away.

"We should get going too, I guess." Lowe sighed, he couldn't believe one day was already gone. Sure it was a day filled with laughter and relaxation, but the day was gone none the less.

"I ain't seen no one all day, I wonder what they've been up to."

"We'll hear about it over dinner, like some kind of weird family." Lowe laughed. The two pushed open the large doors leading into the tourist living quarters, it wasn't a bad place really. Fine timber made all of the furniture, which was all pleasantly cushioned as well. The area was well lit by hanging lanterns, and further more by a roaring fire place where they spotted Ko and Azura. Anastasia was sitting at the large and sturdy dining table, focusing intensely on the book she was reading.

"Hey, what's that?" Lowe sat across from her and asked quickly, Forrest tried not to laugh as he walked off to fetch himself something cold to relax with. Inside the kitchen, there was two female moon clan members talking about magic, Forrest didn't really care. He dodged the assorted floating cooking utensils and boiling pots and sizzling pans as he made his way towards the pantry. He rummaged around and grabbed a few shot glasses, and a bottle of gin. He was going to sleep well tonight.

"It is book about summoning." She replied after a long pause, she placed a bookmark on the page she was reading and closed the tome. "An old woman named 'Ferenzi' is assisting me with my studies while I am here." She rubbed her eyes, she looked tired. Lowe had heard summoning is a complicated business, he figured she was a bit stressed from trying to figure it all out so soon. He figured the lunar clan would be the best bet for education on the manner, though.

"Ferenzi eh? Sounds like an odd name. So have you learned anything fun yet?" He asked as Forrest sat down beside him, and poured all three of them a shot.

"Cheers!" he said and gulped down a shot. Anastasia instantly had a smile on her face as she quickly consumed her drink as well. Lowe didn't drink much, and hard liquor was never something he was fond of, but what the hell. He swallowed the contents of his cup and motioned for her to continue.

"She say I learn fast, which is why I am working with her instead of the young girl that crazy witch sent to help me. Anyway, I know the combinations to creating four different type of creature, all four were fun to play with, none of them seem practical to use for anything beside maybe distracting." Anastasia seemed quite interested with the summoning concept. "I am eager to continue studies tomorrow." She grabbed the entire bottle of gin and drank from it for what Forrest counted to be fifteen seconds, before slamming it down on the table.

"It can be a little confusing, though." she sighed. "It should pay off, she showed me all kinds of incredible beasts that a more experienced summoner can bring forward to use." Aiden and Caden burst through the door, they looked clean, for once, though why they walked without clothes through the snow was a question no one could answer. "Well damn, is not as confusing as this..." She said looking at the two, who made their way towards the staircase at a casual pace.

"We got thrown out of the public bath, don't ask how, but they didn't give us time to get our clothes back on." They were back within minutes, fully clothed large white shirts, with long brown leather pants. Food began levitating out of the kitchen, and onto the dining table. Ko and Azura quickly sat down at the table to eat. The food smelled amazing, and no one wanted to wait much longer to eat.

"So fellas." Forrest asked as he cut up his food. "What'd ya'll do today? Me and Lowe spent our time in the hot springs, relaxed and all that." He began to eat.

"We killed suqahs." Aiden said bluntly as he began to refill his empty plate.

"If you didn't see them, they're these big humanoid things." Caden informed everyone.

"Sounds like you two." Forrest said, spurring laughter from the table. Aiden offered his friend the middle finger, and continued eating.

"Me and Anastasia spent the day studying magic and summoning. It was a fruitful day, the inhabitants of this island seem to be quite in tuned with odd powers. Azura, you may like to speak with the woman Anastasia met." Ana looked up from her plate.

"Oh.. yes she is willing to teach Lunar Magic to those interested. I turned her down, but I did tell her you may be visiting her soon." Azura smiled and seemed instantly jumpy.

"Oh yeah! That'll be cool! Maybe I can even learn how to cook food and stuff without fires!" she plunged into deep thought. The group finished eating and hot tea, milk, and booze was served, along with sweets. Aiden and Caden stood up.

"Time for us to sleep." Aiden started.

"Yeah, we got some business tomorrow, night everyone." Everyone slowly dispersed from the dining room after the brothers left. And soon the first day was gone, with a bright new one ahead.

Back in Rellekka...

Peer the Seer and Chieftain Brundt stood on an old and rickety looking dock, the two watched silently as karamthulhus swam in the water before them.

"This is not a good sign.." The old Peer's hoarse voice pierced the frozen night air. Brundt didn't know what to do, for once. They could try barricading the ocean, he thought sarcastically.

"Maybe this is just a strange oddity, something that will pass."

"Or maybe, everything is assembling itself for His return." Brundt stared angrily at the old man, but knew his anger should not be unleashed upon him. He sighed.

"What types of enemies should we be expecting." His question was interesting to Peer.

"Do you plan on fighting them toe to toe?"
he figured the Chief was smarter than to try something like that, but Peer thought much differently from the other Fremennik.

"If we must, I would like to be prepared." his reply worried the old man.

"Expect all kinds of enemies, all relentless, most won't realize they're in pain, or dying. They will be like the perfect soldiers you always wished and dreamed of commanding, their number will be many, their bravery unshakable, their determination and devotion, unsurpassed. If you thought goblins were zealous fighters, you will find these enemies to be even more zealous, but many times more capable."

"Enough." Brundt barked "Weaknesses would be nice. Some things don't like being stabbed, others don't like being burned, what is theirs?" the old seer stroked his beard and shook his head.

"The farther away from water, the harder it is for them to continue." Brundt's eyes swelled momentarily.

"So this is going to be one hell of a fight..."
