And it was worse than being pierced in the neck actually. She slowly bled/froze to death. Not pleasant. And she had to die in such a horrible way for it to seem like it was Ariks fault that she died (in his mind).

EDIT: Actually not a few weeks, it is quite short. I thought it said 129 story posts, not 29 **.

I'm working on the ideas for another story, I'll let you know when I start it.
If you're looking for something good to read, take a look at the Yanillian Library. There you can find the quick find codes to a good selection of the best stories in the forum (some of them anyway, I can only put up stories that people apply to submit).

Thanks Bad Boy. There is sort of a melancholy feel to the story (or maybe I just imagined it while writing because I knew how it would end), but the ending really takes most people by surprise. I do sometimes have really predictible writing, but this time I wanted something different. And yes, I wanted to try being a little cruel by making it a really emotional ending.
