Hey Toa, glad you liked it! ^_^
Unfortunately during copying to this thread I missed a paragraph so it was left out, I think it is quite cool. If you want to reread the chapter you will notice that I have put it in now. Sorry about that. O_o

×Chapter 20×
×The Long Walk×
The guards wasted no time putting Adam and Rachel into binds to prevent them causing any trouble. They had obviously been informed of the resourcefulness of their targets before being sent to capture them. They left nothing to chance; they took all of their weapons, armor, and runes. They chained Adam and Rachel’s ankles together and then their wrists. The guards assumed positions on each side of the pair. Another two guards took the front and rear of the convoy. The expertly trained guards held their six foot spears straight in the air, creating a makeshift battlement to keep Adam and Rachel in, and everything else out.
They began walking; it was twenty minutes of tense silence until they arrived in Canifis. The full moon having just set below the horizon the werewolf citizens were filled with bloodlust. Smelling the blood flowing through Adam and Rachel’s bodies a ravenous citizen of Canifis who had just become human again could not resist his instinct.
The feral man leapt an unbelievable height into the air, easily breaking ten feet and bore down on the pair and their guards. One of the guards hissed menacingly and flashed his eyes at the werewolf before mercilessly ramming his spear hilt-deep into its chest. He flicked the spear towards the ground and the limp werewolf slid off of it to the ground, its crimson blood covering the spear. As the corpse hit the ground with a dull thump the vampire who killed it looked around with his hate filled eyes, daring anyone else to try and attack their prisoners.
Everyone else in Canifis took some wary steps back and then ran into their houses, had they actually been in their werewolf forms their tails would have been between their legs. Door bolts slid into place all around the small town and windows shut. The convoy continued on with not a soul glancing back.

The sun never seemed to rise over Morytania, evil seemed to hang in the air like a curtain. The rays of light fought as best they could to break the darkness but even at the sun’s zenith at noon the light merely resembled a bleak dawn.
They continued down the blackened path and walked into a decaying forest, every tree was wilted and dead, the bark rotting away. The branches hung low and a carpet of mold covered the forest floor. The shuffle of dead leaves could be heard from the horrible creatures lurking behind the fog. They soon passed out of the forest area and into Mort Myre Swamp. The dull muck gurgled and bubbled as snails slunk around in the tall grasses and the air was foul and stagnant. Adam gasped as he took his first breath of the swamp air. It barely seemed to be air and was more like breathing putrid water.
There was a long winding path through the tall grass that lead to a massive wall that surrounded Meiyerditch, the city controlled by vampires, the Vyrewatch, and the evil King Drakan. Even more massive than the wall was Castle Drakan, directly behind it. The gargantuan castle touched the sky it seemed, and was a massive silhouette against the sky, eventually evaporating as it rose above the low hanging clouds.
Adam and Rachel were exhausted. They had gone a distance that should have taken them two days in only a half a day. The vampire guards stood at the wall and looked as the feeble white light of the sun sank below the western horizon.

General Kurt spoke from the front of the convoy, the first time he had spoken to them since that morning, “The king wanted to have you brought to him in all haste, so we are taking a shortcut into the castle, for the security of his kingdom you cannot be allowed to see the entrance.”
At that very moment he took a step to the left and instantly appeared in front of Rachel, his face inches from hers. Rachel felt a sharp pain in the back of her neck and fell to the ground, unconscious. Adam protested, “Hey! Leave her alone! I’ll kill yo—” then he too fell to the ground as one of the Vyrewatch guards hit him in the back of the head and the world went black.
