At one point in time, magic was seen as an evil, dark art that could be punishable by deaths unimaginable in today’s standards. Wizards and witches were hunted for sport, with huge rewards for the capture or kill of any and all that chose to practice magic.
Which is why one night in 1200 AD, mages from all differing practices snuck out to the mountains that separated the cities of Winterveil and Greenesborough and built a place to practice magic. It was completely hidden from locals, as the snow from Winterveil on the northern side and the rains on the southern side of Greenesborough kept the civilians from hiking to the summit of the mountains.
But now, in 2016, the university has grown from a small hidden area to a huge, bustling university settled in the summit of the mountain range. The school enrolls anywhere from 10-15 thousand students every year, of differing schools of magic.

==--Summary--==
So, first things first, I’m FusRoDef; an old roleplayer who’s trying to get back into the game. I’m fairly experienced in the roleplays focusing around school and decided to try and create a new one.
Without wasting too much time, this is a roleplay that focuses on college age witches and wizards. Think, modern day Harry Potter but with schools like Elder Scrolls (conjuration, destruction, restoration, etc.). There isn’t a main storyline as of right now, but I (and other roleplayers) will try to stir up conflict and create a nice storyline to follow.

Other than that, this should be enough to get you going… On to the Table of Contents!

As I said before, this is a roleplay that basically takes the school of witchcraft and wizardry aspect of Harry Potter, and mixes it with the magic schools of the Elder Scrolls video game series, along with some other ones. I am 100% open to more schools, however.

==--Destruction--==
The school of destruction focuses on just that, destruction of things. It harnesses the powers of elements such as fire, water, air, earth, and even elements like electricity to either harm the living or break apart the nonliving.

==--Illusion--==
The school of Illusion plays with the mind. They can make themselves appear invisible, charm others into bending to their will, as well as appearing so fierce their enemies flea in terror.

==--Conjuration--==
The Conjuration school is just as cut and dry as the destruction school, they practice the art of conjuring anything from duplicate clones, to ferocious beasts to guard and protect them.

==--Alteration--==
Alteration practices bending the sciences of the world, such as biology and physics. They can make their skin harden like armor, or increase the gravitational force acting on a person to feel heavier.

==--Restoration--==
The school of Restoration was the only magic practice that sometimes wasn’t punishable by death. They practice mystical healing, such as fixing broken bones in minutes as well as curing illnesses and poisons.

==--Map of the University--==
There are four residential halls; Graysfen*, Allistair, Blakston, and Reaverton. They’re all nestled on the walls of each face of the entire mountain. They can hold up to 15,000 students each. There are three styles as well; all with the most modern and luxury appliances and amenities. And, because students can get lonely; Res Halls are PET FRIENDLY! (yay)

Style One: Four Person
Each four person dormitory comes with a full kitchen and living area, along with laundry room on the first floor; as well as four bedrooms with their own master bathrooms on the second floor.
The bedroom includes: King-sized bed, 40in TV, and office space with a desk and mini-fridge.
The bathroom includes: toilet, sink, bath and steam shower.

Style Two: Two person
Each two person dormitory comes with a kitchen space and directly connected living area. There is also a smaller laundry room. On either corner are the bedrooms and master baths, which include the same as the four person styled dorm, aside from there is a bath/shower combo in the two person.

Style Three: Single
Each single comes equipped with a condensed kitchen (less counter space) and a small living area (couch/TV). There is no laundry room, single dorms have a community laundry area. The bedroom contains the same as the previous two, but the bathroom has only a shower.

Hadrow University Center: The university center can be reached without ever coming outside. It is an extension of the original underground from 1200AD. Now it is a huge skyscraper in the middle of the summit, which has been flattened into a plateau for the rest of the university. When the Southern rains or northern snowstorms come through, it’s possible to get anywhere around the university through the University Center.

The five schools of magic all have their own hall, each comes equipped with enough classrooms and lecture halls to accommodate all necessary students, along with a couple of cafes per floor and large practice areas to hone skills.

The names are named after their corresponding original five that created the school, they are as followed.
Destruction: Katastrofi Hall (KH)
Illusion: Trug Hall (TH)
Conjuration: Incantesimo Hall (IH)
Alteration: Promyana Hall (PH)
Restoration: Wiederherstellung Hall

==--Surrounding Area--==
The mages of the years have transformed the area into a college heaven. Each different direction from the university is a different season, and each direction also has different activities to do.

North: The City of Winterveil, winter wonderland. If you like to do any winter sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, or even just sledding; Winterveil is the place you want to be. It has a ski resort, as well as many rolling hills to sled down; or have a snowball fight. Or maybe you want to curl up with a book and a hot drink by a fireplace, there’s the enormous bookstore where you can do just that.

East: The east was slowly turned into a desert from 1200AD to around 1800 AD. Afterwards, the mages made it rain for the next 200 years, and now; it’s the dream beach area. Plenty of sun and fun in the sand, whether it’s laying out and tanning, playing beach volleyball or surfing; you’ll find it to the east.

South: Greenesborough lies to the south, and it has become the party central for the university. There are countless bars and nightclubs, and plenty of safe ways to make your way back to the university after a long night of…studying…

West: Nicknamed “The Dub”, it’s the social center for the University. It has movie theaters, lounges, restaurants, cafés, you name it; and you can find it in “The Dub.”

Personality: Christian is one of the nicest guys around, willing to give the shirt off his back to someone who needed it. He wears a constant pearly white smile (from years of agonizing braces). He loves to have fun, but also knows when it’s time to work hard. He is fiercely loyal, and would give his life for a friend.

Physical Appearance: Aside from the smile mentioned above, Christian has other qualities that make him quite the attractive young man. He has big, dark brown eyes nestled nicely on his head, between a nose that turns up ever so slightly. His hair is medium length and a fair brown color, just long enough that his bangs cover his eyes; but he wears it back in the “flow” style. He spends hours at the gym, trying to perfect his body as much as his magic ability; so his nicely tanned Italian skin is fairly rippled with muscles; and covered in tattoos.

Attire: Christian dresses many different ways, but the main two are either frat star; or athletic. You can usually see him with either khaki chinos on, or shorts nearing “Chubs” length, and a fashion-brand button up or pocket tee.
