~Chapter XIX~
A.
Siegfried.
Katrina.
None of them had ever seen each others face but together that worked as one to put a stop to the senseless slaughterer that was Adrian Nave.
A still cursed himself for not realising how simple it was to uncover the infected's identity but nonetheless donned his shining armour, his veil of light and equipped his blade, tall and grand, eager to finish this once and for all.
He was well credited for his ability to solve crimes and as an expert Runescape Pker. Never, had he imagined that he'd be using both of them at once. As he sat in his chair at his computer, he went over all the possible scenarios, his brain whirring inside his head as he planned the following events out. He'd made preparations for this day weeks ago, but no the visual plan in his head was being rewritten and edited as he considered every possible outcome.
Before long, his hands were rapidly beating down upon his computer keys, sending messages to faceless people, the *hone was soon in his hand and calls we made. Words were spoken quickly and hushed, as if the speakers feared detection.
Once finished, A put the communication device down and leaned back on his chair, sliding a hand through his hair and sighing in impatience. One thing had buzzed through his mind and it irritated him.
A'* life depended on him playing a computer game.
"Never before..." He sighed, his unaltered voice soft and quiet as he spoke to himself
"...Have I been so afraid..."

Katrina was at home. She was single and had requested to go home from work early today so that she may face Adrian, so she was alone.
And she hated it.
The closest she'd ever been to death was when Wide Eyes had escaped and she'd been the one capturing him. But he was weakened, half dead and outnumbered.
No doubt Adrian would be the opposite, at full power and quite alive.
"But what do I have to fear?" She asked herself.
