"Pull him to the side," the General ordered, motioning towards the King with a skeletal finger.

The zombies didn't answer, but their actions showed that they had heard, as they dragged the table, with the King strapped to it, over into a corner.

"Good," the General soothed, walking over to the King's maidens. "It's about time someone took care of you two…”
**************************************************************There I stood at the open, crumbling gates of East Ardougne. I stared mourningly at the gates engulfed in a blazing inferno. Its intense heat could be described as matched only by Zamorack’s singeing hatred for everything not under his control. With one word my men and I rushed into the streets, our swords slicing all residual zombies from the battle.

"NOW!" I yelled. Our swords tore through Zamorack’s conjured army with the slightest effort. I sunk my sword strait into the head of a zombie only to see a burning building within the barren streets.

As my men finished off the flesh-hungry beasts I made my way to the upper floor of the burning building, hoping to save King Lathas should he be there. My only concern was if he was upstairs, he might've already died of carbon inhalation.

Fortunately, and unfortunately, the king of the run-down city was not in the smoke filled room upstairs. I headed back down and made my way towards the door until I heard a weeping sound. I turned around only to see a figure on a table.

I moved forward to the figure to acquire a better visual of it, only to find the miserable king of East Ardougne strapped to a table. I swiftly tore through the bonds that held him to the table and saw that the fibers that held him down had deeply ripped through his royal flesh.

"I'm sorry for the haste," I told the king, "but we must leave now before the Malevolent one returns to finish you off." At that I brought the king back to the gates and beckoned my fellow Guthix soldiers to return to the village.

Back at the village, and after entering the throne room once more, I kneeled again in the presence of my Lord, Guthix.

"You have recollected the king." His holiness said, pleased with our fine work.

"Yes, my sovereign," I replied, equally as pleased, "and balance has been restored between Armadyl and Zamorak." My Lord uttered a slight chuckle and said, "As much as I would like that to be true, Zamorak can conjure up more undead beasts. Armadyl cannot."

Chapter 2

Cold light filtered in through the barred window, casting pale, blue streaks across the otherwise dark cell. The small figure in the corner shifted in his sleep.

Lighting flashed, revealing, for a fraction of a second, the heavy, metal chains that were bolted to the wall and latched to the old dwarf's legs. Thunder boomed across the barren landscape, shaking the prison's foundations like a toy.

The dwarf, his name Ramarno, woke to the sound of dragons screeching as they circled the building like vultures. He sat up on his makeshift bed, and adjusted the dirty piece of cloth that was strung across his unseeing eyes.

He listened closely to the noises of the night; the rain, the sentry dragons, and the skeletons that patrolled the corridors of Zamorak’s goal. Then, suddenly, the sounds ground to a halt.

Ramarno, last of the Imcando Dwarves, was held a prisoner for no reason other than his talents as a metal smith. The drawbridge was dropped, and the sound of horses' hooves pierced the silence.

He lay back in his cot, listening to the familiar clunk of metal boots becoming progressively louder. Only this time, they brought with them another sound; the soft step of a woman.

The noise stopped outside his door, and Ramarno sighed.

"What do you want this time, Mal...?” He coughed, speaking for the first time in months.

The Malevolent One didn't answer, only motioned for the guard to unlock the cell door.

Ramarno spoke again, "well, what do you need, did you break your helmet again?"

The padlocked clicked, and the barred gate swung open; the hinges struggling under the immense weight of the door.

"Yes, actually. But that's not why I'm here. This beautiful young thing is in need of her own amour."

Ramarno sniffed the air, "heh. Beautiful indeed, for the un-dead."

The Malevolent One smiled, "you always were my favorite dwarf, but there is no time for conversation. I need it made, and I need it now."

"Very well," he held up his chained arms. "Unlock me then."

The furnace roared in the corner of the room, spitting fire from its mouth, as it sucked in the air from outside like a drowning beast. The blind dwarf bent low over his anvil, somehow sensing where to place each and every hit of his beaten hammer.

A pair of dueling, jet-black unicorns scattered into the shadows, among the dead and dying trees, as another clang echoed from within the bowls of the prison.

"Your amour, ma'm." Ramarno bowed, setting the midnight black amour on a table; the dying light of the furnace highlighting the crimson trim.

The woman stepped forwards, and slowly caressed its sharpened edges and detailed carvings with her long fingers; she wrapped them around the gentle curves of the helmet and leather-bound grip of the sword.

"Oh, my General; it is wonderful..." Her empty voice sung, in such a way that it chilled the room beyond the already freezing temperature of the Northern Wilderness.

The Malevolent One smiled softy, having finally found his partner.

"Well done, Ramarno," he hissed, like a snake that had just been fed. "You will be rewarded for your... loyalty."

Atop the battlements, and facing the low sun in the south, The Malevolent One and his mistress looked out over their lands, and at the legions of un-dead, with rotting flesh and yellowing bones, and at the great winged lizards, their claws as sharp as any sword. Even the powerful necromancers stood in silence, facing up at the castle.

"See the far south, below the rising sun. That is where the city of Falador lies, that is where Zamorak tells me to march."

"Then I shall march beside you, my malevolent hero."

She stood, oblivious to the searing cold, in naught but a thin skirt and top; while beside her the General was dressed, like always, ready for any battle.

"I think it is time we tried on the work of Ramarno," he whispered.

The Malevolent One looked out again, over the merciless army of Zamorak.

"Beasts, and fiends, and monsters alike!" He screamed, like the madman he was. "His alliances are weakened! His cards have been played! This is the night my friends, this is the night we save this world!"

The response was massive, an ill-timed chorus of zombies ripping their throats, and ten thousand skeletons rattling their spears on their hollow chests. The dragons, once murdered by paladins, roared for their revenge to come swiftly.

"Saradomin has lived long enough; for too many years have we been set upon and destroyed to the brink of extinction by these weak-minded fools."

The eternal darkness of the land was broken by fire, as columns were propelled high into the air and the earth rumbled below.

"TONIGHT! Tonight we march to Falador! The words of Zamorak will be fulfilled; all those who join us will be blessed by his almighty power, and those who resist," he paused for a moment.

"THEY WILL DIE!"

First story?

You forgot the god Jas and Zaros. Ah well jas isn't really that important cus he was never in the God Wars...UNTILL SARADOMIN USED THE ******* STONE OF JAS (Spoilers of Ritual of the Marajjhatt)

Kinda funny that my name is Sonic and yours too and we both write about the god wars, even though mine is in a different style and entirely different plot line (talk about over powering when you read KroNekron or if you)
Status: "Retired" From RuneScape. May come back to get 99 Slayer in 1 or 2 years.

This is actually a tale of a God War occuring in the current age, so Zaros would more than likely not be present (but no promises) and Jas hasn't hasn't really came up yet, mostly because I don't really know much about him, but yes, I see what you meant. And thanks for the comment ;D
