A question, Logan:

I've looked at this, but it just doesn't seem right. I was quite sure "passed" was merely past tense for "pass," eg. "I passed the shop on my way to work."
In the form: "He passed the suspended lights as he floated down, and then landed softly on the strange-looking path." It seems to work, but in the context I used, should it not be similar to "It flew past?"
I only ask because I'm re-posting the story on my thread. Thanks
