Kaisen stared, transfixed, at the statue. Then, an elf came up behind him. "You are interested?" he asked.
"Yes," Kaisen responded. "Who is it?"
The elf dropped his gaze slightly. "It is our previous King, King Reyaad, the father of King Aardi."
"And who is the other elf?"
The elf looked ashamed for some reason. "That is Aisarn. He is the disgrace of the elven race. Decades ago, he aided the Zamorakans. He was a traitor to the elves, and his bloodline lives in disgrace even today."
"How did he aid the Zamorakans?"
The elf grimaced as he replied, "He left Isafdar and went to the Wilderness, where the armies of Zamorak were regrouping. He helped to save the life of a Zamorakan."
"Is that so bad?"
"To us, it is. Though the life-saving may have been noble, the one he saved was an important Zamorakan."
"Who did he save?"
"It was a young boy named Agaben, who would, of course, one day grow up to be the Dark Lord we know today."
"You mean that Agaben would have died if it wasn't for Aisarn?"
"Yes." The elf looked ready to leave. "I must go."
"Wait! What is your name?"
The elf did not stop walking away, but he said over his shoulder, "I am Zorrath." Then, he vanished into the crowd of elves.
