Hackskull turned and saw Annie and nodded, and gestured for her to wait, After smashing a couple market stalls, tearing down wanted posters, and raucous shouting at two elderly goblins for no apparent reason. Annie could see what

Up ahead were a couple goblins with orange handkerchiefs, leather armor, and iron maces standing vigilant, probably looking for Annie on behalf of their employers. When they saw Hackskull causing mischief, they took out their maces and began harassing the chieftain. Hackskull ran with the two thugs chasing after the chieftain.

"Hackskull caen taek theam, noe naed tae waerry. Hackskull faest ranner." Shatterbrains said. Belar translated " Hackskull can take them easilly, and he's a fast runner, apparently, even in that heavy iron armor."

Shatterbrains took out a pouch from his pack " Smaek bembs" he said "Smoke bombs Belar translated" " Use them to create a distraction, or to throw off pursuers" Belar said Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Vyras:

Hobbling his way down to Metras the blacksmith took a lot of time and energy for Vyras. Passing by many guards, students, warriors and mages that were once his students, Vyras couldn't help but be filled with pride in what he accomplished in his life. Retirement would grand, indeed, but first he was going to pick up his dagger. Metras should have completed the repairs, the tempering of the silver, the sharpening of the blade, but first he had to make it down the stairs.

Without his walking stick propping him upright, stairs were a nuisance. In the past, he simply levitated over them, but since his magic was gone- at least for now- he had no choice but to navigate the stairs the way normal people do. And once he got to the stairs, he felt dread. Prodding his walking stick on one stair at a time to balance him, as he navigated the stairs down each individual stair was tough. Eventually a crowd of people worried for the old man gathered, one of which was Brimblemir. "Let me help you, Vyras" one person offered

Vyras sneared at the young blonde haired youth, as he was halfway down. " No need to be worried about me," Vyras said, gritting his teeth at the thought of being escorted down by someone who was assuming that Vyras couldn't make his way down on his own.

Vyras made each step down successfully until he made his way to the second-to-last stair. There at last, his knee gave in, and he fell to the bottom with scrapes and bruises. The crowd ran down to help the old man who had cuts and sores on his face and a nasty scrape on his hands and left knee. Despite the cramps, Vyras was still trying to make his way back to his feet, but alas he could not. His knee had given out on him.

"You okay, Vyras" Brimblemir asked frantically as he rushed down the stairs to help his friend out" Vyras grimaced revealing a chipped front tooth." Brimblemir sighed " I'm taking you to the infirmary," Brimblemir said finally. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Annie:

Shatterbrains knew it was his duty to protect Hackskull, but still trying to figure out where he had run off to was impossible to know. "Aeaaaand.... Hae's gane" Shatterbrains said, sighing "He's gone, Annie" Belar translated. "Aef wae roen aento haem, wae can haelp, boet Hackskull strang," "If we run into him again, we can help him, but we have our own mission, perhaps our paths will cross again." Belar said

More goblins gathered, upon seeing Kunigas dressed in a hot pink dress and could barely contain their laughter, "Ugh this is embarrassing. I should have worn the black dress!" Kunigas complained with undertones of resentment in his voice.

Shatterbrains noticed someone among the stalls. A dark blue-skinned drow wearing fancy blue and gold trimmed outfit that a human could wear. He was tending to a stall of clothing and jewelry He was bald and had searing golden. "Look, Kunigas said, "It is against Lathanon values, but he is technically the enemy, he'll likely try to kill us in self defense if we try to buy anything off him."

"What are you thinking, papa?" Belar asked " We could rob him. take off with his merchandise, this is war and his merchandise are technically the spoils of war. Belar turned to Shatterbrains for his opinion on the drow. "Waet's yur Oepinion oen thae drow traeder, Shatterbrains?" Belar asked " Haem? Hae's not vaery waell laeked, hae swaendles goblins waeth cotthroat praices. Saeveral maerchants haed to cloese shop. Hae's aelso reportedly maerdered saemone." Shatterbrains said

Belar translated " Much as I hate robbing my own kind, Shatterbrains says he is a scumbag who undercuts merchant prices, put several merchants out of business with said prices and is rumored to have killed someone, so I leave it to you, Annie." Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Annie:

You have several options here:

-You can kill the merchant and steal his merchandise, jewels and all

- You can knock him out, and take the clothes, the jewels

- Or you can restrain him with nature magic, take the key to his merchandise assortment and rob him blind

- Or you could leave him alone and get nothing.


You can't actually buy anything off him, he's a drow, and will attack you if you try, but you can try to buy merchandise if you want to kill him.

Killing him has no effect on the eventual treaty with the goblins. The question is does your character rob, or kill a sleazy drow merchant so that Kunigas can get out of the dress and into more human-looking clothes? This merchant undercuts prices, is the enemy, will likely attempt to kill you if he sees you, and is rumored to have murdered a goblin, himself. He is much hated as a result. Annie:

Upon seeing the strange human, the color on the drow's face went pale- What did this strange human want? It reasoned. Whatever her reasons, they were likely not good. Humans, dwarves, elves, drugal, they would all want the head of a drow on a platter. The only thing it could do was defend itself.

Raising it's arms in a defensive stance, the drow engulfed it's hands in purple energy, and after incanting, a portal opened from the ground and 10 zombies clawed their way out of the portal. Pointing at Annie, the zombies outstretched their arms at Annie, aiming to heat her flesh.

The drow trader then ran off leaving his goods behind, in all likelyhood the strange human and her companions, especially the drow traitor Belar would be dead once the zombies were finished with them. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Annie:

Regardless of being taken completely by surprise by the drow's reaction, the zombies were now dead, the shady merchant was gone, and he had left his merchandise unattended. Since the drow had literally attempted to kill Annie, his merchandise was now forfeit. Annie could now take the merchandise as spoils of war if she chose.

Annie:

there are plenty of places you can check for loot.

- In the drow's strong box. You can use nature magic to rot the wood

- in the three display cases, you can smash the glass in the one on the stall and take: the jewelry, an assortment of 15 silver necklaces, 15 silver topaz amulets, 15 gold emerald bracelets, and 15 silver onyx rings.

- The second display case contains a white and gold outfit for Kunigas, quite expensive, The goldentree amulet that will act as a focus for your nature powers if you choose to take it

- The third display case contains an expensive looking ornate bearded axe that you can take for yourself, and ditch that disgusting training axe you used in the duel

- In the storage chest inside the stall, you can use your nature magic to rot the wood and rust the lock off to take an assortment of 5 silver bars, leather straps, and a shiny blue stone. You can take those, and use them to have a smith forge you a weapon of your choice. That scenario will come soon

How loot works:

When you get loot, it has no weight, so you don't have to worry about lugging tons of junk around, unrealistic? Who cares, carry weight is as annoying in a forum rp as it is in any roleplaying game, so I'm doing away with it.
