Between Lia's burst of blinding speed, the clash of two vampiric factions and him being the slowest combatant in the hall Hadrian was unable to reach where Lia fought with Sven, blocked off by a wall of vampires who danced against each other in their 'graceful' way of fighting. However, that did not mean he was unable to change the situation.
It was remarkably easy to hit an enemy that was massing in the tight quarters of the hallway, after all.
The knight had no care for which faction his swords bit into, having thrown himself into the fray immediately. The two broadswords he held, one stained red with blood and the other clean - for what would be only a few seconds. The first to fall was a vampire who hadn't even been paying the knight any attention, its eyes focused on one of the opposing vampires that could well have been some kind of rival for the monster - but fate decreed such a rivalry to end at another's hand, as Hadrian's newest sword took the vampire's head off in a clean sweep.

Hadrian retaliated with a slash from his left sword, the vampire managing to pull back his arm to avoid the swing, only for its eye to widen when Hadrian lunged forwards with his other sword - far faster than an ordinary human could move.
The monster was impaled through its heart followed by Hadrian himself slamming into the creature, crushing it against the wall. It slumped to the ground as Hadrian found his footing, sparing only the briefest glance down
