"When last I was in Vilnius, there was an old mystic visiting my father's estate on business. Maybe he can help." Vyras smiled. "That is a hopeful sign, I will take it under advisement." he said. "Any other ideas?" "We could seek out the Argash Lun mages," Brimblemir suggested. "Orc mages are as adept at blowing themselves up as they are at healing." Vyras said "Maybe you'll be surprised," Leonas said optimistically.
"Getting to Argash Lun would not be a quick or easy journey, that area is known for being thick with Vampiric Venus Flowers." Vyras said "And it gets even worse once you go southeast of Argash Lun," Haegar said. "I fear Tomas will be dead before we even get to the stronghold. It is not an option, I fear," Vyras said. "Athalia Flowers are rare, but they can cure ailments and dispel when mixed into a potion, it used to be you could find them anywhere." Brimblemir put out.
"That's not much better than Argash Lun," Vyras said dismally. "Lensa, what do you think? You are the leader." Lensa was silent for a minute and gave Vyras a stare of deep disapproval. "You got us into this mess, you can get us out." She answered passive-aggressively.
"Lensa, I have never known you to act this way, I am your friend. I gladly stepped away from leadership so you could take over, but right now, we need to decide how best to handle this situation together "I will tell you how," Lensa spat out angrily "I want Tomas caged!" "CAGED!" Vyras said in outrage. "That is hardly fair," Brimblemir said "I have already made my decision" Lensa said with finality.
Most of the rest of the party, those invited ate in silence. Vyras occasionally glared at Lensa with sad eyes of deep diappointment. Brimblemir looked at Lensa with deep anger, Tomas was on edge, Brandr occasionally told unfunny Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Sat up in the watchtower of the cathedral, a raven brought forth a message from the direction of Pragaras. Darius, who was going over maps, as usual was caught off guard when the letter he received bore the seal of his master. He used a golden hilted letter opener and opened the letter. It let him know the person he was waiting for was delayed and it was up to Darius to accomplish his patron’s goals. He removed his garments and placed on white finery, and on his back, he placed a sheath for his serpentine spear. Into the sheath, he placed the spear. These were formal badges of his master’s trust.

Vyras' face was red with anger over his protogee's desire to lock up Tomas for something he could not control “See, Lensa, even Annie protests. When even the daughter of the man in question protests, that is a sign that you are overstepping,” Vyras said. Lensa shook her head. “What do I do in this situation, mentor,” She asked. “We can isolate him in his room, Two guards can watch the door at all times. It would potentially be a deadly situation for them, but surely someone would be willing.” Lensa nodded. "Someone foolish..." Lensa said, not knowing whom to choose.
Thirty minutes passed. At last, the dishes were being served. Tjpugh the festivities were spoilt with Tomas' condition, Brandr insisted the party begin with a hefty helping of ham. “All this doom and gloom. Brandr can’t stand it. Come, get drunk, be merry! Unfortunately, more bad news came looking for the party guests. Suddenly the door opened. Inside barged Darius Saugokis, dressed in a white tunic and carrying a serpentine spear, in his hands was sword whose blade had shattered from the riccosso. he offered it as a gift to Lensa. It was a gesture of parley
“I bring tidings from my master, who is currently caught up in other affairs,” Darius said “Darius, what are you doing here, and what are you saying?” Lensa asked indignantly. Vyras was furious. “You weren’t invited, and your treatment of Belar has been abysmal,” Vyras growled, ever protectively of his adopted daughter.
“I’m afraid that the time has come to reveal myself.” Darius said suddenly a flash of white light surrounded Darius and revealed who he really was. His eyes became golden as the rays of the enshrouded sun. His face was elongated slightly, and his cheeks were sunken in. Then Vyras noticed the telltale signs of a vampire: Elongated fangs.
Immediately Vyras flung a fireball at the vampire. Darius expertly dodged. Lensa grabbed a kitchen knife and jumped at Darius. Darius smote Lensa into the wall, Brandr, dropped his clothes, except his loincloth and leapt from behind the mess hall serving area with his great mace in hand. He jumped in the air off the table intending to strike Darius. Darius sidestepped, and Brandr ate the wall.
“I am not here to fight you, merely offer you a choice on behalf of my master, Lord Sudaro Draconis,” Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

As a result of Annie's lycanthropy, Annie sent the vampire flying into the limestone wall. She also managed to gash the vampire's face with her fingernails. leaving five marks across his right eye. Though winded, Darius regained his breath quickly. He dissipated from his physical location and reappeared behind the table. Directly opposite of the location of Annie.
Darius placed his hand over his eye "You fiend!" he shouted, "Though I suppose I deserve that. I am not the one who placed those runes over your father!" he shouted. "Indeed Annie." said Vyras, they are Clan Gern runes, but I have not heard of Lord Sudaro or his "Clan Draconis," Vyras said. "House Draconis," Darius corrected "'Clan Draconis'" Implies a lack of legitimacy such as with Clan Gern," Darius corrected.
"As if we care," Vyras said, dismissive of Darius' assertion. "Clan Draconis, House Draconis; it matters little to me; you're a vampire. The only reason I don't immolate you is because there have been no reports of vampires feeding on resistance fighters in the cathedral, so you, at least did something nice for once." Vyras said.

Annie: Two things: One it's not a rune necklace placed around Tomas' neck. The runes I speak of are rune markings etched onto the right side of Tomas' neck magically; two you have wounded Darius, so in the interests of the story, I will allow you to attack him twice more if you wish, but you can't kill him. He's important to the plot. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
