They are all humanoid, clear indications that they are pureblood. I want to know what they are up to."

Lensa began to wrap up. " To summarize everything: There are enemy bandits that we need to wipe out; check with the lookout or get a bird's eye view of the surroundings, perhaps use the maps I gave you. Check on the villages, and perhaps you'll get a lead from doing that, be wary of the Leshy, and keep an eye out for the new clan of vampires. Good luck," she said. Annie's punch knocked the young Cortinitan worker over: a letter fell out of the pockets of his brown overalls. Seeing the letter, Belar walked over and picked the letter up and began reading the letter, it was a letter to the young worker's mother, but it was badly written with spelling mistakes everywhere on the parchment. The Worker begged Belar to give the letter back to him. Belar ignored him

She read the letter to herself quietly.

"Deer, Madray, My sister and me are doing well in this shythole of a country. We are working with the resistance as pryvate constructchion werkers. If all goes well, weel be makeeng a grait differince in the werld, az we help rid the werld of the Vampire scum.

Belar extended her hand to him, the Cortinitan took up her hand reluctantly and under great duress and hesitation. Nonetheless, Belar waited patiently as the Cortinitan took her hand, she helped him on his feet. She led him to a table, and began correcting the letter for him.

Within a few minutes, she corrected the entire letter for the nearly illiterate Cortinitan. She left him speechless, meanwhile Annie had cleared the rubble with her firebomb spell. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Erik:

Pallidus, looked at Erik. "Leshy are a race, but there are few of them. they are related closely to ents. They are often misjudged as one in the same, They look like old men growing in the wood of a tree, and the wood of a Leshy is hued in blue. The difference between Leshy and Ents is that Ents are guardians of the forest, and move about, Leshy make the forests their domain and guard a single spot for the entirety of their long lives."

Palidus led Erik silently back down the terrace, and they exited the door to the hideout. They went back out the way Erik came in, and back out the chamber leading out through the cathedral altar. The sun was not visible, but to make sure the sun would not come in contact with his face his face, Pallidus put up his hood, the hood on his robes over his face. It was about as safe from the angry sun as Pallidus could be, should it come back out. From here, Pallidus gave the lead back to Erik in deference to Lensa's wishes that Erik lead.

"Okay, so what now, boss? Lensa said you are in charge. Personally I'd go check out the tower, Darius should be up there, and I'm sure he'd let you compare the maps with the local terrain. I'd fly and look for a place to scout out any hints, but the weather won't permit it; It really feels like rain is on the way." Pallidus suggested.

Burgrod spoke, "I'm sure the vampires will make the first move, their reaction will be swift and brutal, local villages are likely to be torched as a result of the siege. perhaps we should look for smoke."

Zurga was rather quiet until now. " I agree with my brother, but I also propose we check out the local taverns for gossip. I'd rather have the jump on any information before villages start burning. Local taverns are good places for gossip after all. We're just giving you as many options to pursue as possible. Whatever you choose."

Annie:

Seemingly blissfully unaware of Belar's mercy towards the worker, Belar made her way back down to her friend. Whilst understanding of Annie's anger, she did not actually condone the violence of what transpired. "I understand your anger, but as an acolyte of the Lathanon faith, I can't condone violence against non-vampires. Kunigas has been showing me the ropes for months."

Grunting goblinish could be heard in the halls down past the hideout, Belar figured that the explosion caught their curiosity at the very least, but so far, the goblins weren't suicidally charging their potential enemy. Nonetheless, Belar withdrew her mace from her bag and a book, which were her book of unholy curses. It was perhaps a tad weird that a priest accolyte of Lathana would carry such a tome, but Belar wasn't originally from the surface, and the old dogma of the Lathanon faith was scarcely practiced. She donned her white priest hood over her white robes, and got her spells at the ready. She was only going to attack if the goblins attacked first.

"Annie, Get your weapons ready," she said to her.

Coming in from behind Annie were the other youth fighters. About thirty of them. Missing from the bunch were Eidric and Balvin, but Arturias joined up with the other youth, he had his short sword at the ready, on his scabbard, and he was lightly armored in brown leather armor, as were most of the other youth. Brandr was also with the group of youth.

"Brandr was in the midst of cooking great dish, when the other youth asked me to watch over them on Metras' suggestion, so Brandr shows up. Brandr has Everyone's back!" Brandr said. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Erik:

Zurga shouted out as Erik headed upstairs, "We'll meet you in the Belching Toad in the village Pragaras, It is the closest village, and should be marked on your map," Erik must have heard the shouting, the echo from the hall made it impossible not to hear."

Burgrod and his sister left the cathedral, and started heading toward the village.

Erik headed up past the library, whose collection was impressive. Only a few books were covered in mold, or burnt, which was more than could be say for most books in Sudovia. Erik made his way up the marble spiral staircase and up a wooden platform leading to the cathedral steeple. All Erik had to do was open the trapdoor. Darius was moving above Erik. He heard a liquid being dispensed, a beverage, perhaps. It mattered not, unless it was alcohol. There was the cooing of a pigeon, as well. Definitely one of the messenger birds. Other than that, Erik couldn't hear anything out of the ordinary. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Annie:

Cautiously the other youth advanced into the narrow passage, Brandr withdrew his flanged longmace from his back straps and advanced with them. Most of the youth were equipped with bows and arrows. The only person who didn't seem to be able to read the room was Annie, everyone had their weapons drawn. There wasn't much room in anyone's heart for mercy nor diplomacy. Even Belar had her weapons out. Even though Belar was a priest acolyte, and as such, was meant to be peaceful, Belar had her weapons out out of an abundance of caution.

To be fair, Brandr couldn't read the room either, he was an unintelligent berserker who barely had any clothes on save his loincloth, and his Corinthian helmet, and he had already drank what he called his "Battle Brew." It was an alcoholic drink that brought Brandr's rage to its zenith. If anything were to happen, Brandr would not stop killing until either he, or the goblins were dead.

Belar, read into the situation for Annie, "Annie, I don't like this, one wrong move, and it's a slaughter. There is one thing you could try, but it's risky: You could go in there alone, without weapons, or backup and try to convince the goblins to be our allies, or leave at the very least.
