Annie and Vyras:
Vyras put forth his right leg to be healed and lifted the robe slightly. To say that the leg was “mangled” didn’t do the word justice. The leg had healed in such haphazard way that that the kneecap was not in the right position on his skeletal structure. It was bent in a grotesque manner to the left; and the muscles underneath his kneecap were torn, and scarred both inside the leg, and on the surface. The leg could not be extended far, hence the need for a walking stick.
“You are doing spectacularly, child.” Vyras said with a smile on his face. “This is not an easy wound to fix, Annie. Kunigas tried and failed; and our other healers have tried and failed several times. Whatever Lexius did to my leg 20 years ago with the claw of that oversized hammer of his, it was not a normal wound.” Vyras said with a sad expression.
Among the other things that Annie fixed was Vyras’ hunched back, vertebrae realigned themselves as blue sparkling magic coursed throughout his body. Muscles on his back reconnected. The injured kneecap realigned itself slowly. Internal and external scars on his leg vanished and His calves reformed on both legs. Silence fell on the room as Vyras got out of bed.
When Vyras got out of bed, his first instinct was to grab his walking stick. He soon discovered that he no longer needed it. Everyone in the room was stunned when Vyras began walking and jumping to test the limits of his newfound freedom. Lensa suppressed tears. “It’s like he’s a new person.” She said “Still, I’m going to have Annie accompany you from now on, Vyras. I’d hate to have that wound reappear and nobody around to help.” Vyras snarled stubbornly. “Bah, You’re no fun, Lensa.” Vyras said, “Look at what I can do with these muscles!” Vyras said. Lensa ignored her supremely stubborn father figure. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Of everyone in the room, Kunigas and Belar were debatably the most stunned. “A novice healer succeeded where I failed! Well, I’ll be. Annie, you have talent.” Kunigas teased with a smile, though there was a bit of jealousy and indignation in his words. “Father, how do you feel?” Belar asked, holding back tears. Vyras gave a wry smile. “20 years younger, child! I had given up all hope of having this wound healed, I would return to the field immediately, but as promised, I’m now officially retired, except to offer Lensa advice from time to time.
“Yes, honey! No more field work, ! for Lathana’s sake, you boob!” Kunigas said barely containing his indignation at the thought that Vyras might *again* go back into the field.
Belar spoke.
“Annie how do you feel?” Kunigas repeated his adopted daughter’s sentiments. “Indeed. you healed a wound that no novice healer should attempt to heal without the direction of a master healer. In fact, the only reason you were able to do so is because you performed courageous and compassionate actions with the goblins. Healing magic focuses on those two emotions. I think you should be wary of healing anyone else for a few days, even a minor cut. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Sakura:
Rina unsheathed her second karabella saber. She noted that Sakura used a masakari. the axe had a deadly swing and a massive axe head, but Rina was sure that she’d come out on top. After all, the only other weapon Sakura had was a tiny little tanto. She’d have a hard time blocking two sabers with her axe alone. In the moment, she also felt very little for Georgy, in the moment. She smashed a purple energy enwreathed fist into the ground. Bones from long dead creatures surrounded RIna. The bones formed bone like cuirass, greaves, gauntlets, and boots. Then she charged at Sakura. When she got to Sakura, she arced the saber in her right hand in a forward slash. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Erithicus was treating Corvus’ wounds. The other vampires seemed to have forgotten about him and Corvus. Ciconia had already cut down five vampires with her scimitar despite being blind, it was as if she could predict their movements before they made them, she danced around sword strikes, and axe blows, and ducked and dodged, and pirouetted around spear thrusts; but even she could not dodge the arrow that went into her wing. It was when the vampire drew another arrow that Erithicus shot a crossbow bolt directly into the center of the vampire archer’s forehead. The vampire collapsed onto the floor of the mine cavern, dead.
Daptrius dispatched even more vampires than Ciconia, having killed seven with his scimitar, Rina and Georgy’s underlings were numerous, but also badly trained, except for the two vampires in front of him, who were engaging him together. Daptrius guessed they were purebloods, they were smarter, and craftier, they took more hits. Daptrius nicked one vampire’s thigh, but within seconds the wound healed. Daptrius arched his scimitar in a downward slash, only to be blocked by the vampire's polearm, the other pureblood was about to stab Daptrius in the stomach, with his wakizashi but he had gotten too close. Daptrius kicked the vampire, unceremoniously, in his junk, the vampire fell to the ground momentarily, stunned and Daptrius sidestepped deeper into the mine shaft corridor, which was a natural chokepoint a chokepoint. Here Daptrius reasoned he had a better chance of taking on both opponents, as there was not enough ceiling space to take to the air. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Having passed out, it fell on someone burly and strong to get the Annie to her room. As soon as Brandr entered the room to see what the fuss was about, he picked Annie off the floor and took her to her room with her father. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

Annie:
Annie did not get good sleep during her time unconscious, She got under the bedsheets well enough, but tossing and turning (And strange dreams of barking at cats, and dreams about howling at the moon, and dreams of her time withing Castle Gern’s) forced the sheets off the bed within 15 minutes of being brought in the room by Brandr. The burly, brutish chef had gone somewhere else. Annie’s father was beside her bedside as she finally awoke. “Bad dreams little one,” Tomas asked. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
