Annie was faced with the same stairs down to the smith that Vyras fell on. There were only eight of them, made of oak wood, but those eight stairs while no problem for Annie, could have meant a broken hip for Vyras. Perhaps pondering that as she moced, she made her way to Metras the smith, who was busy working. Vyras' dagger, Vilsind was visible on the smith's workbench along with a few other odds and ends. As she approached Metras, the middle-aged smith, and his son, Soris, always by his side, noticed the curved dragonbone blade on Annie's side.
"Nice sword," Soris said, "Who made it?" the child asked. "Indeed, it is a fine blade, contained in a fine sheath." Metras remarked. "My son speaks true, it is a fine blade, and I would very much like to know who made it, as well. Perhaps I could learn his methods. A smith does best when inspired by another smith after all." Metras observed. Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

I was certain that stand-off with the goblins would end up with their deaths or ours" He walked to his workbench and retrieved Vilsind, the dagger was dull previously but had the look of a knife that could cut through leather (or vampire flesh) with ease once more. The nicks and dents in the metal had been hammered out, and the blade straightened.
"Here it is. Normally I would expect payment from him, but since he fell on the second to last stair -- not too far from my shop -- I've been worried for him as well, as was the crowd that had gathered around him. I don't like pranksters much, but Brimblemir has my respect for helping Vyras. He's lucky to have not broken any bones. Please take the dagger to him, and please tell him that if he wishes to walk down those steps, he should have someone with him. Magic: Fire magic. He can cast a whopping two spells before he has to take a mana potion. He has terracotta grenades, and recipe book for making terracotta grenades, and bombs)
Apperance: Farth keeps his blonde hair on his head in a short ponytail, so as to not get hair into his terracotta grenades and bombs, which could cause a disastrous explosion if any gets in his beard is long and meticulously clean. He has hazel eyes, a straight nose, a large mouth and a large scar on his right cheek. He wears an iron plate body, iron plate legs, heavy iron gauntlets and boots, he also has a black hood, and scarf, and cloak. On his right thigh he carries a satchel full of terracotta bombs, he carries mana potions in his pack, as well as his book of explosives in his pack. He carries a knife in a black leather sheath on his right hip, but it is not meant for combat, but rather cutting food, ropes, grooming his beard, etc. He never trained to fight with knives)
Personality: Farth keeps his beard meticulously clean. He will spend hours grooming his beard to the degree he desires. He will only wear helmets that allow his glorious beard to grow freely into battle. Farth believes that honor only applies if both sides observe it. Once somebody cheats, rules of chivalry and honor are to be tossed aside. This sort of behavior is reasonable outside of Balvorrik, but it made him deeply unpopular in the great dwarf city. He has a personal creed for when he allows himself to use magic. For example, if he is facing a dishonorable spellcaster, he will resort to magic or bombs, but against a lowly thug, he will stick to his axe hammer, or mace. He has a deep hatred of drow stemming from his time fighting them. Against a drow, or vampire he will dispense of all honor and do what it takes to win, unless his solution gets innocents hurt or killed. He respects the elves Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

, but dislikes drugal, and considers their cooperation with them to be ruinous to the elves sterling reputation. He dislikes using drugal caravans considering that most of their wares are stolen, the only way he’d buy from them is if the weapons on sale were stolen from a vampire or a drow. Otherwise, he will buy from a more respectable dwarf caravan, or a human merchant. Farth is a follow the rules as intended sort of man, when given orders, he will follow what he thinks is the "spirit" of the order. He is a black and white sort of guy. Either you are good, or you are evil, he does not do well with grey, and will weigh the number of good deeds over bad deeds like a scale. The more good deeds committed, the more he will respect that person; if someone commits more evil deeds, he will lose all respect for them. He is also has a big anger issue, and is prone to drinking, like all dwarves.

Bio: Farth Teldarian is 35th in line to the Teldarian line of succession. He has very little chance of ascending the throne, however. In fact, he belongs to a branch of the Teldarians that are poor, but well-connected. Farth’s branch of the family serve the main branch as military commanders and generals. Farth’s father, Faren was a popular general. His mother was Lady Trarin, the last surviving member of the noble Trarin family,And it was from his mother’s line that Farth inherited his gift for magic.
As she could not inherit a fortune, Lady Trarin’s hopes for wealth rested on her marrying into another noble family and joining the lines together, A young and still popular High King Asgrin introduced the two at an ale drinking contest. Lady Trarin had outdrunk most the dwarven men in the competition, and Asgrin told his lesser cousin to partake, soon, he outdrank the female competition and the two faced each other, downing 30 flagons of ale before they both passed out drunk in the Headless Drow Tavern (which is still around). The two bonded as they recovered in the main hall of the palace, two years later, they married.
Farth is the last of seven sons, who are considerably older than him. Given his father’s position as a general, Farth was slated to be in the military. His father trained him in axe and mace combat, given how similar maces and hammers are, Farth also grew to be proficient with them too. Farth’s magical talent surfaced in his teenage years, he was the first dwarf in any branch of the Teldarians to have the talent, among dwarves, magical talent is considered a curse, so the family sent him to the mage college in Balvorrik to learn how to harness and control his gift. That is the main function of the school, to teach magically gifted dwarves how to control their talent so that they don’t end up causing magical disasters in the city. As he learned how to control his talents, tensions with the drow became tense once more, and war eventually Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!

This war would destroy High King Asgrin’s popularity, as the fifth war with the drow would be one of the most destructive wars in dwarf history, inflicting high casualties, causing social turmoil within dwarf society, It would get Farth’s father killed, his mother killed herself in grief, and his brothers were severely wounded in skirmishes with drow spellcasters.
In the meantime, Farth gained a nasty reputation for challenging people to duels over the slightest of offenses towards him. If one made fun of his magical talent he challenged them to a duel, and the other dwarf would be honor bound to accept it, the problem was that the other combatants rarely survived duels with Farth. Farth was known to fight dirty, unconventionally. He gained the reputation of a hot head, and High King Asgrin did not like it. One day, as Farth was about to challenge someone to a duel, he recieved a summons from High King Asgrin. Not wanting to keep his uncle waiting, he put off the duel and went to see him. Asgrin handed him position as general.
Asgrin chose his nephew specifically for his magical talent, he wanted someone familiar with magical affairs in a position of command, and there was a desire on his part to test Farth, for a possibility of inheriting the High King’s throne, Farth’s chances of inheriting were low, but a coup was a great possibility during Asgrin’s reign, High King Asgrin was well aware of the scheming of his nobles and the Underkings who serve him as the equivalent of governors for certain problem areas of the city. Farth as it turned out became an unpopular commander, forbidding his men from cavorting with prostitutes, recreation, drinking, gambling, his men considered being posted under his command a punishment. One day one of his men punched Farth in the face over the pornographic book he hid from his commander, Farth insulted the lad over the size of his member, and his inability to perform on his “whore of a wife” and the dwarf assaulted his commander. The other dwarves wrestled the lad off of Farth, and the dwarf found himself at the front lines scouting for drow infiltrators in the tunnels. the lad was killed by drow spellcasters and the highway to Balvorrik was under attack from drow, Farth ordered the tunnels collapsed as the miners fled, he and his some of his men escaped, and the tunnels collapsed over the drow attackers, when he counted his men, he noted that the majority of his battalion was trapped.
Weeks passed, his men let their wives know what happened, Farth who was on a supply run to Balvorrik was challenged to a duel to first blood with the son of the dwarf who punched him, Farth was honor bound to accept the duel, Farth intended an honorable duel but as he was about to face his opponent, the young boy resorted to magic, it seemed the boy intended to kill the man and the duel to first blood was a ploy to catch Farth off guard. As a result, Farth’s creed allowed him to use magic, and so he decided to use it. Even the guards on the arena grounds were hesitant about confronting the mage. When they did, the boy blew them to smithereens with a terracotta grenade.
Farth was the more competent mage, and after the two had expended, mana, mana bombs and mana potions, the two faced each other in combat. It was as the boy charged Farth that he clobbered the boy with his mace in the head, causing a nasty crunch sound, and the boy lay crumpled on the floor of the arena. Farth was exhausted and left the arena grounds where the city guard waited for him, Just your friendly neighborhood gay boy!
