I'm a mess with homework right now. Don't expect anything anytime soon, sorry y'all. Favorite class...they're all REALLY interesting, it's just a ton of work. I actually love all of them, aside from the work. My class for my major, Analyzing Media Texts, is great - we watch movies and talk about how they were made, so it's like a creative writing class for movies, the equivalent of reading a story and talking about the author's style.
And then my Global History class is actually fascinating, it's a more worldly perspective about how the world developed as a whole, if that makes sense. I'd love it more if we didn't have to read like four chapters of Guns, Germs, and Steel plus a 50 pg chapter of Rise of the West plus 20 pages in some atlas thing plus an entire 200 page book plus write an essay in one week.
Then my interpreting cultures class, that's hard to describe, we read essays about like...culture, basically - not different cultures but like philosophic interpretations of culture (like last night's was one about how the university has a role in culture), which is really interesting but confusing, and the readings are really long, and there's a paper like every other week for that (alternating with history, so I conveniently always have a paper - and then there's a film report every weekend).
Finally, Italian. So I can live in Italy someday and write books. Good stuff.
So...I love them all. But will pretty much always have a paper to write until the end of the quarter, plus I'm super involved in some various clubs and I'm on some student movie sets, so I'm trying, but my free time to write is like...nada. I sincerely apologize, I'm still thinking about Lucas and Justine, always, I promise, and I'll be writing again ASAP.
