Alright, so here is my relevant information:
Obviously, my name is Yam42. I'm sort of new to the stories forum. Before late 2011/early 2012, I only had one thread on here: a short, ten-post story I created in 2010 called "Voice from the Shadows (Ext.)". The "(Ext.)" is a diminutive of "extended," as the original "Voice from the Shadows" was only two posts long and served as the prologue to the full version. When some people recommended that it be extended, I wrote the full version that still exists. Sadly, the original two-post "Voice from the Shadows" thread no longer exists.
Since my return in 2011, I have compiled a small collection of work in my thread, "Shorts, Fragments, and Verse". One of my stories, "Determination", is also featured in Aeraie's "Emotion Anthology". I believe that I have improved significantly from "Voice from the Shadows (Ext.)". Since returning, I view myself as sort of the newcomer upstart to this forum, but I am sure that time will change that. I am currently a Novelist in the Novelists' Guild.
As far as my accomplishments in reality go, I really can't remember them that well (which is kind of funny when you think about it). I am a college student, and one of my majors is English. During high school, I had a weighted cumulative GPA of over 4.1 (I won't get too specific here), and my current collegiate unweighted GPA is 3.86. In May, I had a poem published in the college literary magazine (which I suppose is no great shakes, but I am happy because it's still published). Ironically, it was in Spanish. (I have also written a twenty-page children's book in Spanish). I am very familiar with the mechanics of English grammar, and I am rarely deducted points on any assignment for grammatical flaws.
Here are the QFCs for my threads:
