And just past the city, a large plain of blue grass that waltzed with the kind, blowing wind. As the boy investigated his surroundings, droplets began to fall from the sky. He glanced skyward, seeing dark red clouds consume the skies. These thin little droplets falling from the sky were bright yellow, glowing dew from those clouds.

It was raining pretty heavily, shattering the peaceful silence upon this plane. Uriel's mind wandered, unable to piece together where he could possibly be. The boy's ears then caught the sharp clink of armour suddenly pop from behind him. He swiftly spun around, readying himself for what may come. His face tensed up, his eyes like daggers.

He then saw a familiar set of steel plated armour, his gauntlets like claws and his boots like talons. Around his neck, a tattered cloak of forest green. Indeed, it was the man who had brought Uriel to wherever he may be: Soter the Savior. From last the boy saw him, Soter had lost several parts of his body, including his head. But that all seemed to be back now.

Uriel dared not to speak a word, he allowed his eyes to do all that he needed. They took stabs at the armoured titan, but none that he would take any issue with. A moment or two passed without so much as a breath, Soter believed it was time to finally unleash his voice for a change. "It is good to see that you are finally awake," the titan said, breaking the silence. He then turned his back, out towards the way he came. "If you would follow me, the Elder Gods would wish to speak with you."

"You expect me to just be okay with all of this?" the boy returned, his voice angered. "Who or what the hell are you? Where am I?"

"I am Soter Vertius Sera, envoy of the Elder Gods." he introduced himself to the boy.

"Wait... "Sera"?" the boy quoted, frozen with a pause. "That's my..." His voice went cold before he could go onto the next words -- words he could not bring himself to utter.

The messenger picked up on the boy's inability to properly word out the last bits of his sentence. Soter turned his torso just enough to gaze upon the boy, his verdant eyes placed kindly down. Uriel had taken notice of this, the titan's unusually kind and careful gaze upon him. "All will be explained if you follow me," Soter assured, promising to lighten up the confusion that the boy clearly displayed.

Just by the look alone, Uriel felt an immediate rush of trust. It was so odd... how could one look automatically make this man appear completely buyable? Uriel was put into a double helix at this moment, battling himself and then coming to a conclusion. But that answer made no sense, so he fought some more.

But overall, his trust was instantly bought. The arm-cloaked young boy took a step forward, and then another. He told himself to stop, but something internal made Uriel continue to walk forward. He wanted to seek the answers, to find them for himself. So, this was the only way. He had to go forth, to speak with the very questionable man.

The two began to walk down a spiral staircase, small windows appeared on the walls around the staircase. That familiar smell of rain rushed into Uriel's nostrils, keeping him at a slight calm. They go around and around at a slow pace, Uriel's thoughts too spinning around like a sick Merry-Go-Round. He wandered outside, watching as the bright yellow drops fell down.

His eyes then turned to the green cloak, gripping it with a fierce grasp. "What is this place?" he asked, the tension in his voice dropping like a stone.

"Solasúila," Soter answered.

Uriel was puzzled, bewildered by the strange thing the titan uttered. "Solasúila?" he repeated, confused.

"This is the world where the Solasúians -- the 'gods', your enemies -- originate from."

"Then why are we here?!" he questioned, his voice began to rise. His hands clenched tightly, his eyes turning into blades. "You know the answers, don't you! Why the hell have you brought me here?! Who are you!?"

"Patience," advised the messenger. "rewards are only given out to those willing to wait for them."

"Oh, please..." the boy responded in disapproval. "Don't start lecturing me like you're my father."

Soter then drew breath into his lungs, bottling up all of his emotions. He then poured them out, releasing it into the cool air. "It is this world where the Elder Gods decided to settle down." the messenger explained. "They kept a close watch over the Solasúians and the Neheztelians. That was, until the day the Solasúians defied the Elder Gods by starting up the genocide of the Neheztelians and then fled to Gielinor."

"I didn't ask for a history lesson," the boy growled. "Who are you!? Why do we have the same last name!?"

Soter then paused suddenly, surprising the boy. A long war of silence broke out between the two, not a word was uttered. After a minute of quiet, Soter then looked back at Uriel. His cold-as-steel eyes gazed upon the boy with the arm cloak. "Patience," the messenger answered, his voice without anger. But there was something about his expression that made Uriel question.

It seemed like it was hidden something, some sort of emotion or something Soter really wished he could convey. Regardless, Soter pressed forward as if nothing had happened. Uriel continued forward after lagging behind a little, he quickly raced down to catch up with the titan.

Somewhere far beyond that world, another scene played out. He had traveled a long way, walking until his feet bled. He knew that no matter what, he had to keep himself moving forward. How else would the wind continue to blow his sails, carrying him across this divide? His serene, hazel gaze pushed ahead, his feet planted upon the waist of the land.

Before him, a ruined sanctuary. His godly eyes could see every inch of this place, revealing to him the truest face of this gathering. It had been two weeks since death and annihilation fell like rain down upon the heads of those within that desolated keep. And still, those remaining were still very reasonably in a state of shock.

But with the swing of seasons: death and rebirth. Lumbridge was in shambles, but the city had begun the process of healing. Those mentally and emotionally able picked up a hammer and began to swing away at their problems. Still, the city was a shadow of its former self. This was a surprise to the dark-robed young man, never did he expect to see this.

His mind aflutter with the images of his coming here a while back. It was so strange, the situation he was locked in only happening within the frame of an entire year. Such loss and decimation, such tragedy and grief... it was a vast, all-consuming ocean that the young man began to sink into. He then pulled his right hand up, that letter entrusted to him by Anabel gripped firmly in his hand.

Her voice and her departing words lingered in his head. "Go to Lumbridge and give this letter to Master Raphael. Explain to him everything that has happened." her words resounded, echoing throughout his head. "You know... I may have only known you for such a short time. But I'm really glad that I got to meet you."

The young man's teeth fastened together, his face tightened up as he remembered those words and images from that day -- that day that still pains Daevarro so very greatly. It kept him here, dropping the weight of a thousand tons upon his shoulders. His legs froze, he shook at the thought of that day swirling constantly around his mind, his personal loop.

Move forward, stop looking back... Those were her final words to him. He knew that, no matter what, he had to respect her wishes. With one foot placed boldly out in front of the other, the dark-robed young man nudged himself onward. He then put his other foot forward before the other, beginning to walk down the beaten path called 'life.'

Daevarro took it one step at a time, getting there at his own pace. His steps became more certain and strong with each breath, his hesitation dissipating like the phantoms that haunted him slowly eroded away. "Beatrice," Daevarro named to himself, pushing himself harder and harder to keep on moving. "It's because of you and Anabel that I'm still alive, because you both had me hide while you went off and faced death. I'm not going to run and hide anymore, I'm going to stand and fight. I swear... I am never going to let that happen again. "

Lumbridge drew near, until finally he had reach the end of the road. At the gates into the debilitated city, the stick-out-like-a-sore-thumb young man stared upon all those before him. The sound of the recreation of this city -- the pounding of wooden and metal -- echoing all around him. Just as Daevarro looked upon those around, those folks looked upon him.

They poked at him with questionable glances; some borne distrust, others borne curiosity. Those distrusting began to circle around the young man, even some knights followed suit. Daevarro shuffled his eyes, he began to nervously tuck into his shell. The men and women around him took quick jabs at the strange garb the young man wore with their eyes, maintaining a certain level of attention at all times.

Daevarro knew he had to break out of this, quickly swallowing saliva down his throat. He recomposed himself, taking his gaze to the crowd. "Ex-excuse me," said Daevarro, his voice tripping along the way. "I-I need to speak with your leader."

"You wanna talk to Master Raphael?" questioned a knight, stepping up to the front of the crowd in an attempt to act as their representative. It was Adil, head of the knights. His brooding brown eyes piercing the young man. "You step into our city -- into our home -- and without even a single introduction, you expect us to just... open the door?"

Daevarro sighed, bowing his head to Adil. "You're right, I'm sorry." the young man quickly acknowledged, offering an apology in return. "My name is Daevarro, and I am with the Governanti Resistance. I have urgent news that I must disclose to Master Raphael as soon as possible."

"News you need to "disclose"?" questioned Adil. "What, like a dagger to his throat?"

Daevarro's head quickly shot back up as soon as he heard Adil's return fire. "What?"

"Don't take us for fools here, god," continued the knight. "We know all about your tricks. You think you can fit right in with us, pretending to be human? We're not going to fall for the same trick twice."

"So, does them being human automatically make them trustworthy?" spoke a voice from Daevarro's right. The source of this voice came from behind the crowd, someone the dark-robed young man could not see. Everyone in the crowd immediately turned to face the familiar voice, who began walking through the middle of the crowd to get to Adil.

Her glowing, pale blue eyes took a quick glare at Adil. He instantly retaliated, trading gazes with her. It was the infamous female archer that fell from the eyes of all who once enjoyed her: Elena Ortrun. Or perhaps it would be appropriate to address her as Lucia Barn, future queen of the Imperial Kingdom. She was dressed with a thick, heavy bandage around the sight of the stab Balor inflicted upon her, the broken arm she withstood after Gallows' forced assault was placed in a bandage sling.

Adil appeared very spiteful of Elena's presence here, his eyes seething with ire. Elena was not about to back down, her face stern and tense. The two just stared at each other, their eyes digging into one another. The crowd appeared just as displeased with Elena's sudden appearance as Adil was.

"It doesn't matter who or what we are, the fact is that we are all prone to change. Be it good or bad, one minute friends, the next enemies. Or maybe, the traitor never had good intentions, being hostile while wearing a mask. After all, how could one betray another if they never intended to befriend the other to begin with?" returned the archer, breaking the minute long silence. Her godly eyes did not let up at all. "Or have you forgotten already?"

"Oh, yeah, I remember well." the knight returned. "I remember that guy, Shinon and his sister. What was their reason for infiltrating again? Oh, yeah! It was because of you. So, who's to say if it weren't for you, we'd not be in this mess?"

"Don't turn the subject onto me, Adil," responded Elena. "Look... I understand that there's absolutely no way I could ever earn your forgiveness—"

"—Tch, you've got that right."

"— But I have grown to accept and take in your resentment, to the bear the cross of my actions." she continued. "This boy here is an official member of the Governanti Resistance, entrusted by Master Fionnlagh himself. I will hear what he has to say and judge whether or not to grant his request."

"Well, you are second-in-command," said Adil. "I doubt any objection I had would matter at all to you." Adil turned towards the crowd, he began walking away. "Have your fun..."

Elena's glowing eyes watched as he walked away, closing her eyes and sighing. She turned to Daevarro just afterwards, the crowd behind her disappearing with mixed feelings just as soon as Adil left. As soon as she looked in Daevarro's direction, the strangest sensation gripped him. She felt... almost drawn out, like something was pulling her out. She felt almost seperated, drawn to this young man. "...Sorry about that," she apologized, attempting to shake off this horribly odd feeling.

"It's no issue," Daevarro assured.

"Come," she said. "let's take a walk." The two then began to walk, side-by-side. They entered further into the small town, passing by remnants of what was the old town. Daevarro saw with his own eyes the situation that the Resistance found themselves in. It was truly a losing, woeful place with not much room to move. But still, this sense of hope emitted from each person.

They had a drive to stand, to fight. It was uplifting, inspirational to this young man. The ruined streets and buildings, the shattered lives of those who still mourned, all of it was just a drive for some people to rebuild. Perhaps that sense of hope was just face-deep, where there was hope... that was doubly more despair.

Parentless children hiding amongst the ruins of their beloved home, shelters and tents to call 'home.' The scent of death still very vivid in the air despite the two weeks since the attack. With bare foundations and picked remains of houses piled with wood ripped apart, there wasn't much to see of Lumbridge.

The dark-robed young man was caught up in all of this, his mind wandered across this desert. He was pelted with the sands of thought as he traveled, climbing up steep hills. Elena turned to Daevarro, her glowing blue eyes gazing upon the distracted young man. "You're Daevarro, right?" she asked.

He was hurled out, kicked out from the kingdom of his own mind. He was thrown out back into the blinding light of reality, left to ponder all on his own. He turned to face Elena, seeing her look to him. He shook his head, confirming her question. "But how did you know?" he returned with a question of his own.

"Fionnlagh has told me about you," the archer responded. "My name is E—...My name is Lucia. Lucia Barn, princess of the Imperial Kingdom."

""Princess"?" the young man echoed, repeating the archer. Daevarro then paused, catching Elena in that stop-motion as well. Her pale blue eyes glanced backwards, staring upon the dark-robed young man before her. "You mean that you're...?"

She shook her head with grief. "Yes," she answered, her hand clenching upon the wound she has endured. "It's not something I admit lightly. Rather, it is something I wish didn't have to be. But unfortunately, this is reality. I don't have the luxury of choosing fate; what I do or do not want to be. But I can choose what it makes me."

Daevarro's eyes turned away. "I see..." he muttered, his voice quick to let it out.

"I can imagine you probably have mixed feelings about talking with someone of the Royal Family." the archer said. "If you need me to get someone else, I—"

Daevarro quickly looked back up at Elena, swiftly shaking his head as soon as his eyes met hers. "No, no," he denied swiftly. "I'm... I'm all right."

She then paused, pondering for a moment. "Okay," Elena returned, the archer continued walking once more. Daevarro realized this, walking up to her right. "Fionnlagh had told me that he would send a message once the Governanti Resistance figured out their next move. I assume he tasked you with its delivery?"

"Me and Anabel were supposed to come, but..." Daevarro mumbled, his voice losing sight of itself once his mind wandered to the next portion of his sentence. Words hung like icicles on the tip of his tongue, freezing solid just at the edge. There were things he wanted to say, but there was nothing he could get out. He walked forward with his head hanging low, unable to push himself to speak it.

Elena noticed this immediately as the two approached the castle gates. While she felt the hateful glares of her surroundings, she was more concerned with that one person she spoke to. His weak whimpers to utter the truth grabbed her by the ear, taking her eyes with it. Her godly eyes gazed upon the saddened Daevarro. "What's wrong?" she spoke with worry, then her eyes saw the small rip in his left sleeve and the dried blood that oozed from his now healed wound. "Did something happen?"

"...They're all gone..." the dark-robed young man finally stated, forcing out his heart. His hazel eyes returned to that place, his mind scorched by fire. Daevarro looked up at the archer, her appearance a very familiar one. Her black hair, her blue eyes, her slightly tanned skin -- a near spitting image of Balor. "Master Fionnlagh, Anabel... everyone."

Elena was stunned in this instance, a mind ran amuck with the code to this cryptic message. She took one step towards Daevarro, her face tensing up. "Wait," Elena replied. "are you saying that the Governanti Resistance... was attacked?"
