Gregory was sitting on his throne, looking out on the field of battle with disbelief. Why would Guthix use such an army when he could just destroy the tower with one blow? The army was massive.
In essence, the army of Guthix was nature, and his force was made of nature incarnate. Water titans, lava titans, swamp titans, ents, dryads, and other diverse creatures were his military. And he had collected at least fifty million of them.
“Why!?!?! Why do you do this to me Guthix? Is not destroying me enough? Why must you destroy me slowly!?!”
“Well,” Guthix replied, “let me just say I enjoy it. Destruction can be fun, in its proper place.”
The army advanced twice as fast as Lucien’s had, and they were undefeatable. All the titans were immune to the arrows, the titans made of wood would be washed down by the water titans if burned, and all but the dryads were immune to the magic. When they reached the walls, the lava titans melted the wall and the ents smashed it. At this point, Gregory gave it up for lost, and called for Saradomin to take him, and remove him from the agony of watching his tower being taken apart, piece by piece.
