Ezril looked at Guthan, "No...I couldn't have killed you!" Guthan smiled back, "It's not your fault, it's not like you knew anything about death back then. Why have you come back here?"

"I have come here to destroy all the Devil's Arms" Guthan smirked, "Looks like I have the last Devil's Arm you want, but I'm not going to give it to you willingly. Draw you weapon and fight me" Kai, Roku, and Ezril knew that Guthan was probably the strongest Barrows Brother, defeating him wouldn't been an easy task at all.

Guthan drew his spear and rushed at Ezril. Ezril took Catastrophe, "Flame!" he shouted shooting fire from the tip of the blade. Guthan sidestepped it and pushed Ezril back with the middle of the spear. Ezril hit the wall and grunted. He slowly pushed the spear back and shot another flame.

Guthan smiled, "Come on, that can't be the best you can do" "I'm just getting started" said Ezril back.

Ezril hoisted himself off the ground and bounced off the ceiling. He held Catastrophe with two hands and swung his blade around. This time, Guthan was hit in the chest. A drop of blood fell from his chest.

"Good, good" Guthan said smiling. However, Ezril was a bit ticked off. "Guthan! I know you're holding back, give me all you got!" Guthan looked over, "Okay, if that's what you really want" Suddenly the Barrows Brother had vanished into thin air. Ezril flipped around and saw Guthan stabbing at him.

Ezril fell back, blood falling over the ground. Ezril's arm ached so much now. "Man, maybe I shouldn't have asked him to go full strength" he said to himself. He picked up Catastrophe and shot a flame at the ceiling above Guthan, but the Barrows Brother was too quick.

With each of Guthan's hit, he felt weaker and weaker. "Guthan's set bonus is really starting to get to me, and I haven't even seemed to damage him..." Ezril was desperate now. "It's going to take a miracle for me to win"

Ezril closed his eyes and almost felt as if he was in a deep sleep. He was worn out, the bags under his eyes showed this. Strangely, Ezril saw the gods bickering amongst themselves.

"Ezril can't lose!" started Amazcut, "If he loses, the world will fall apart" Saradomin sighed, "There's no way Ezril can beat Guthan. At this rate, all hope was lost. He was never strong at all, but it looks like he'll soon be dead"

Ezril opened his eyes with rage. "Shut up Saradomin! You can't do any better!" Guthan was a bit shocked and confused by what Ezril had said, "Strange boy" he said smirking. Ezril's voice reached the heavens, where all the other gods and demigods started laughing at Saradomin.

"I'll show you gods up there that any mortal can do what a god can!" said Ezril to himself. He tripped Guthan and uppercutted his jaw with Catastrophe. Guthan rubbed his mouth, "More aggresive, I see" Guthan lunged his spear at Ezril, but instead Ezril jumped and started running on the spear.

"Flame!" he screamed. Guthan was hit by a burst of smoking hot fire and fell to the ground. He put his head in his hands and started screaming. "Aggh! My eyes!" Ezril jumped back and took away his spear. Guthan came up with smoke all over his face and just barely keeping his eyes open.

He reached for his weapon but only touched the air. He looked over to Ezril who was holding it over his head. Guthan took out his Devil's Arm. Ezril and Guthan collided, swinging blades. Ezril rolled under Guthan and avoided the Devil's Arm just barely.

Ezril started walking backwards but Guthan approached closer. Ezril felt his back touch the wall, dead end. Guthan smiled, "Looks like this is the end" Ezril smiled back, "Yep" Guthan was confused why Ezril was happy, he couldn't possibly win. Guthan raised his spear above his head.

Ezril yanked a string extremely hard, sending a flying spear through Guthan's chest. The blood spred over Ezril and Guthan fell down.

Guthan layed on the floor as his eyes weakend. Things around him started to dim. "Good job...Ezril" he said slowly. "Where will you go when you die?" he asked curiously. Guthan smiled, "We are forever bound to this cursed hell, I will arise from the dead in a matter of days"

Roku and Kai ran over to Ezril and started patting his back and congratulating him. Roku handed him a bottle of his best healing potions as they hugged their friend. They started making their way to the exit.

Guthan smiled, "Ezril, you have good friends and good intentions, don't die anytime soon" Guthan called Ezril just barely breathing. "Destroy our Devil's Arms, but you can keep the ones you already have wielded"

Ezril rose his eyebrows, "What? Don't we have to destroy them?" Guthan smiled, "No, the ones touched by those who have good intentions and a good soul will be able to keep them" He finally closed his eyes, "Brothers, I'm coming"

Roku, Ezril, and Kai made their way out of the pitch dark cave. At the end of the tunnel they saw a blinding light, the sun. "It's been forever since I've been outside!" he said yawning and wiping tears off his eyes.

"Hey" said Amascus helping Leto to her feet. "Amascus!" shouted Ezril running up to hug him. "Ow ow ow, not there it hurts" he said breathing heavily. "Sorry, how have you been?" Amascus sighed, "Karil was a psycho, he's pretty tough too"

"Ahrim was pretty simple" said Billy bruised and wounded. They all greeted each other once again and talked about how their lives had been. "It's been like forever since I've seen you all!" said Kai happily.

"Guthan told me that a Devil's Arm used by a pure soul doesn't need to be destroyed" started Ezril. Kai smiled, "Looks like Disaster doesn't need to leave anymore" They all continued chattering away like bees in a hive.

"Days like this are great" said Ezril looking up at the sky. "And I think I'll remember them forever"

Chapter 18: The Problem

It had been a month since the siege of Tirawwn. Keril and Tilus' still loved each other, and they loved each other deeply. It seemed like nothing would get in the way of their relationship.

Tilus still couldn't ask those four words that decided the fate of their lives, "Will You Marry Me?" Those words were so strong that Tilus thought she'd never say it in her life. However, she was drawing closer to the conclusion of asking Keril each day.

"Good night" said Willo throwing a bucket of water on the roaring fire. The campsite turned into darkness and Willo went back to his room. Tilus sat there staring at the dead flames. "Tilus, is something the matter?" asked Keril. Tilus snapped out of her trance, "Oh, no it's nothing"

She sat upright in her bedroom, the front door was open letting the moonlight into the room. "Keril, if only I could know how you thought about this" She closed her eyes and lifted her head back. She couldn't sleep at night very well, she would always think about Keril.

Everytime Tilus closed her eyes, she would see Keril standing there. She loved how he would make a joke out of everything. He never cared about if someone cursed at him, calling him names or insulting him. He would always reply, "You too" or "Thanks a lot! You've inspired me!"

Tilus knew that if she kept staying up at night thinking about Keril, she would finally lose her mind. She stuffed her head underneath her pillow and shut her eyes tightly. Tilus still couldn't go to sleep.

Tilus got out of her bed and walked to her coatrack. She put on her heavy wool cloak and opened the door. The moon was shimmering over the sky so brightly as it reflected Tilus' sea blue eyes. "I'm going to finally settle my troubles once and for all" she said tightly grasping her coat.

She walked up to Keril's room but then started to rethink what she was doing. "What if he says no?" She finally turned around and was about to knock on the door.

The door swung open and showed Keril coming out of the room, only a towel on. Tilus blushed immediately and turned her head, "Oh! I'm so sorry!" Keril smiled, "No problem, just have to change"

Keril's face became a bit more stern and he tilted it to the right a bit, "Is there something wrong, Tilus?" She shook her head, "Umm, no no I'm okay" Keril smiled, "I'm going to change, you can come in for now"

He handed her a cup of tea and turned on the lamp light, "You want any?" he asked. "Uh, yes okay" She said grasping the cup of tea with her two hands. She blew on it and sipped the tea slowly. "I have to change now"

He went into his room and shut the door. Tilus looked over and saw Keril's shadow. She saw the shadow start taking clothes out of the closet. The shadow slowly started unraveling it's towel.

Tilus immediatly looked away at a lamp, trying to concentrate her focus there. Her face was rose red, "By Saradomin get out of here Tilus!" she said to herself. She got up and reached for the door until Keril came back in. "So why did you come by?" he asked. Too late for Tilus to leave now.

Tilus thought confronting her fears would help her, instead it made her even more nervous. Keril too was nervous, but he snapped out of it over time. Tilus looked down at the floor and occasionally back at Keril as they talked.

"Keril" she said finally, "I want to ask you something, but..." Keril turned over to face Tilus' direction. "But what?" Tilus approached the window, staring at the moonlight.

"I love you more than anything, you know that?" she started. Keril walked up to her, "Well I-" he blinked for one second and his eyes opened, he saw Tilus turned around, truely kissing him. "Shhh" she said calmly, "You don't need to talk anymore, listen to what your heart says"

Tilus slowly kissed Keril again longer this time. Keril put his hands around her waist and Tilus put her arms around her neck. He kissed her on the neck, "What was the question you were going to ask?" he said slowly.

Tilus looked deep into Keril's eyes and saw the he loved her as much as she loved him. "I'll tell you later" she said slowly closing her eyes and kissing Keril once again. Keril put his hand through her strands of hair.

He gently kissed Tilus' cheek and Tilus started to smile. He felt Tilus pull him closer to her and tighter. He saw her ruby red lips and moved in to kiss them again. With each kiss, Keril and Tilus held each other closer as if this would be the last time they would ever be together.

Keril finally let go of Tilus and sat on a chair. "Is something wrong?" said Tilus scooting over to sit next to Keril. She budged closer to Keril. "I don't know why, but I always think that for some strange reason, every time I want to tell you that I love you, something says that I can't be in love with you"

Tilus laughed and nudged even closer to Keril, "That can't be right, it's pretty weird though" Keril smiled, "Yeah, I guess so" said Keril tickling Tilus. She continued laughing again. Tilus was now having tears stream out her eyes from laughing so hard. "Come on! Please! Stop!"

Keril stopped and Tilus looked up at him with a smile. Keril picked her back up, "I told you to stop!" she said with a twinkle in her eye. Keril smiled back, "I'm not a very good listener" He softly kissed Tilus on the neck and she let out a small smile. Tilus was getting ready to ask Keril the question.

Tilus put her hand on Keril's chest and put her hands around his neck and kissed him on the forehead. Keril kissed Tilus one more time on the chest. Tilus let out a giggle. She and Keril looked into each others eyes again. "Keril, will you-?" Keril put his finger on her mouth, "I already know what you were going to say, and yes"

"Keril, Keril, Keril!" It was clear someone was trying to tell him something. Keril awoke seeing the clouds around him. "You're finally awake!" said Saradomin. Keril screamed in shock.

"What are you doing in my room?!" said Keril. Saradomin laughed, "Mortal! This is your dream, but it's also a message" Amazcut continued, "You are the one to take the Elixir of Life in order to kill Zaros"

"Elixir of Life?" he said confusidly. "What's that?" Zamorak sighed, "Iban has been captured by Zaros, and he wants the staff of Armadyl to replace as a trade" Keril stood up, "Don't trade then! The whole world will die if you do!"

"Hush Mortal!" screamed Zamorak. Guthix continued, "Yes that is true, but Iban is the only one who knows how many forces Zaros has left, and what we need to do to stop him. That's where you come in. You must take the Elixir of Life, the second thing that can kill Zaros. He doesn't know about it but this Elixir can only be reached by mortals"

Elidinis started talking, "Bascially, you get this Elixir and you can destroy Zaros and save the world" Keril smiled, "Anything to live with Tilus peacefully" Armadyl breathed in air, "Well, that's the problem. Tilus' heritage is Zamorakian"

"What does that have to do with anything?" said Keril. Armadyl shook his head, "The Elixir can only be touched by a soul that is pure. No offense to Zamorak, but if you marry Tilus, then you won't be able to touch the Elixir because you have partily evil blood, and then finally, the world will fall apart"

Keril's knees fell to the ground, "N...no, this is just a dream! It can't be real!" He put his head to the ground. "I'm sorry" started Guthix, "But it's as real as can be, and you must not marry Tilus, for if you do, the world as you know it, will be gone forever"

Keril woke up from his sleep and looked at Tilus who was sleeping peacefully, "How am I going to break this..."

Keril stayed up through the night, sitting up on his bed. He finally decided to get dressed and make coffee for the two of them. He felt a tug on his arm as he got up.

Tilus, still asleep, was tugging on his arm. She mumbled somethings in her sleep, "Keril...where...going?" Keril slowly took her hand off and placed it on the bed.

Tilus woke up, rubbing her eyes and stretching her arms. She looked over and saw Keril had left. She put on her coal black shirt and walked towards the kitchen, the smell of coffee in the air. Keril was sipping coffee slowly and finally looked up.

"I see that you're awake, coffee?" he said with a smile. Tilus smiled back, "Sure, do you have any cream with it?" Keril handed her a teapot and she poured the cream into the coffee and mixed it with a spoon.

After a few minutes of silence except for the sipping of coffee, Keril put his cup down. "Tilus, there's something you should know" Tilus immediatly put her cup down on the table, "What is it?"

Keril sighed, "I had a dream that the gods were telling me to get some Elixir of Life, only it wasn't a dream they said, it was a message. I had to get the Elixir of Life in order to kill Zaros, but if I did, I wouldn't be able to..."

Keril paused, "Go on" said Tilus impatiently. Keril sighed again, "I wouldn't be able to marry you because your heritage is Zamorakian. The Elixir of life can only be reached by a pure soul, a Saradomin or Guthixin"

"How do we know it's true though? Unless we really see a real message about this, then it might just be as much fake as it is real" Keril shook his head, "I guess, but it seemed so real..." Tilus smiled, "Don't worry too much about it, it was just a dream" Keril nodded, "I guess you're right" and sipped some coffee.

"Are your men ready?" said Ezandra slithery. Tyler nodded his head, "Yes, but I need a general" Eznadra smiled, "I have the perfect man for the position..."

Ezandra snapped her fingers and something started to crawl its way up to the throne room where Tyler sat. It squished around and had a grotesque odor. It finally stepped into the room and started around it's surrounding.

"What do you want...Tyler" it said in a groaning voice. Tyler smiled, "I thought you were dead for good, I guess hell spat you back up since you were so disgusting" It was a ripped apart body of King Tyras. He slowly made his way to Tyler and bowed down, "I am now at your command, Lord Tyler"

"Lord Tyler?" he thought to himself. He smirked, "Yeah, I'm going to get to like that name, Lord Tyler" He picked up his Dragon Longsword and pointed into the direction of Lumbridge, "Men! Bare your arms and prepare to fight to the death! Lumbridge shall completly fall, along with all of Misthalin!"

The men cheered him on right after his speech, "Huzzah!" some shouted. Tyler smiled, "Now go!" A unison of large purple flashes started going off. It a second, Tyler and Ezandra were left alone. "Good luck, new general"

Saradomin looked down on the dying world, "This has gone far enough, why don't we have someone else to get the Elixir of Life! Like Ezril!" Guthix nodded, "He doesn't worship any god" "Roku?" Amazcut sighed, "He was the death of Verac, remember?" "Billy?!" "He worships Fern*r"

Saradomin slammed his clenched fist on the table, cursing at his misfortunes. "This is impossible, Keril will never decide to get the Devil's Arm!" Zamorak sighed, "Well, now it's time to trade the staff for Iban" Saradomin looked over the clouds, "Keril, don't let us all die..."

"FR33 STUFF PL0X!" were the beckons of poor beggars, they had such bad education they couldn't even spell. "PLZ GIMME FR33 ST-" A huge army of Black Knights popped up in Lumbridge. "Z0MG BL4K N1GHT$!" screamed a beggar. In a matter of minutes, red blood had spilled over the land of Lumbridge.
