Sub Chapter 10: The Mysterious Murderer
“Stupid vampires” said Billy to himself. He slowly continued the trail to Varrock, hoping he’d make it by sunset. “Dang, why did I have to leave the others!” He shouted to himself. “I’m such an id-” There was a sudden cry of terror. Billy rushed into Varrock only to see a bent out of shape, skinned, fleshy, and bleeding body. It’s eyes were staring out into space, and the mouth was snapped open, showing an extremely disturbing body. “Who did this?” said Billy to the people. None of them replied, they just continued staring at the body.
“I’ll take care of this” said a guard. He took a bag and picked it up. “There, no more mess, area is clear!” After that, everyone went back to their everyday lives, like the incident never happened. Billy, however, was not so satisfied. He decided to make an approach a different way. He quickly followed the guard carrying the body in the bag, which was dropped into a secret sewer. When the guard had left, he went into the sewer, only to see dozens of corpses, rotting flesh and bleeding bodies.
“Holy-” thought Billy. He tried not to vomit, but it was hard to hold it in, for the sight was so grisly. “I’d better get out of here” he thought, leaving the sewer for good. “So, still, what sick person did this, and why did they do it” Then suddenly he remembered, all of the people who were killed had Holy Symbols on them. “Zaros’ work” he said to himself.
“How can I help you?” said a happy guard. Billy just kept walking until he found the guard in the sewer. “What are you doing with those bodies!” he screamed to the guard. “I beg your pardon?” Billy was mad now. “I know what you’re doing, you’re killing followers of Saradomin. The guard smiled and turned into a demonic figure. “Yes, I am using them for sacrifices, my name is Ezandra, and you have seen too much” He drew his sword, but Billy threw a vial of Holy Water. Ezandra screamed, and he slowly disappeared.

Warning: These next chapters are just a little bit gruesome and gory

*Long * Sub Chapter 11: Siege

“Falador is in deep trouble” thought Amascus. He bit his finger and hoped he was wrong. He had been called in by Sir Amzik Vaze, apparently it was extremely important. As soon as he got over the hill of Barbarian Village, Amascus saw a huge inferno passing out of the sky. “Oh no…” he thought to himself. Amascus bolted quickly down the hill into Falador and saw Black Knights starting to slaughter the men and women. He saw a girl fall to the ground, screaming for mercy, and suddenly, a Black Knight cut open her throat. Amascus, in a furious rage, drew out his sword.

“Another White Knight!” said one of the Black Knights. “Kill hi-!” Amascus beheaded him in a single swipe. The body continued to squirm, but Amascus took his sword and removed it’s limbs. “This White Knights be strong!” said another, attacking with his bare hands. Amascus stepped aside and pinned him to the wall through his gut. He screamed and pleaded for life, but Amascus took a battle axe and smashed his head open in front of the bank. “Come on!” he shouted to himself. Amascus took his dagger and ripped the flesh and muscle out of the next Black Knight, who never even saw what hit him.

Meanwhile, Leto was having trouble herself. “All I have to do is tell Seren that Salrouth is dead, and then I leave” she kept saying to herself, but when she entered Tirawwn, she saw the blood and guts of elves spewing across the land. She screamed, which was a bad thing. An undead popped from the ground like a daisy and grabbed her leg. She tried to tear it away, but the grip was too strong. It immediately jumped on her and sent her on the floor. It pinned her to the ground with a staff at her throat, pushing down at the ground. She slowly gagged for air as she pushed the undead away. Two arrows went flying at her arms, and she slumped to the ground.

She crawled her way to a knife, and placed it in her right shoulder. She had a pained look on her face and managed to take the arrow out. She did the same with the left shoulder and bandaged up both. She held herself and watched her guard, hoping she wouldn’t get caught again. It turned to dusk, but Leto tried not to sleep. Eventually, however, she drifted into the realm of dreams, and finally closed her eyes. Her green eyes didn’t see the trouble coming it’s way.

In Falador, Amascus had finally destroyed most of the Black Knights. Their heads, were placed on spears and left out in the open for all to see. Amascus was about to sleep when he saw a Black Knight try to make a run for it. Amascus took his javelin and threw it at his back. He screamed in agony and in a pitiful appearance, he sobbed for his life. He said that he would never do anything with the Black Knights again. Amascus, with hating eyes said, “Once a Black Knight, always a Black Knight” and tore his head off. He walked back to camp and went to sleep.

Leto awoke and saw she was in an ancient burial grounds, stripped of her usual clothes and instead had very small ‘sacrificial’ clothes. She was chained onto the ancient ruin in the middle. “Please! Let me out of here someone!” she screamed. The undeads didn’t listen, their eyes still remained white as usual. They made way for Mages of Zaros, who slowly but steadily made their way to the middle of the altar. Leto slowly cried as the mages drew closer.

“Enen Etu Imana Lothor” said the mages in some sort of chant. Leto didn’t know what they were saying, and hoped not to find out either. She pulled harder on the chain, when suddenly, a mage took out a dragon dagger. “Stop pulling, or we’ll end your life quicker” Leto drew her hand back and hoped for the best. The mage took up the dragon dagger and put it above his head. Leto quickly closed her eyes.

“Zaros requires a sacrifice” said the mage. “You shall be used, for you are the only vessel capable of wielding the power of Zaros’ gift” The mage took his dragon dagger and plunged it into Leto’s skin. Leto let out a scream with every movement of the dragon dagger. He threw the flesh of her silky smooth skin to the ground, and carved a symbol on her stomach. She cried out in agony as her tear drops fell to the ground. It turned into puddles of water, slowly falling off the altar. The incriptions were now bleeding and Leto was huffing for air.

A chain went around her neck and she was tugged to a noose. She gagged for air and the screaming stopped momentarily as she was shocked by constant lightning. The noose finally let go and she dropped the ground, coughing up blood. The mage grabbed her by her hair and threw her to the wall. He slowly curled the silky black hair. “This last part hurts the most” he said with a grin. He took a knife and started to cut incisions in her skin. They went in, and the mage pulled them instantly out. With each stroke, Leto let out a faint and sobbing cry, she moaned slowly through every single stroke.

With a final cut, the mages murmured amongst each other and threw Leto outside, where she had to grab onto a cold blanket for warmth. The cold brittle air was infecting her wounds, and so was the dirt. She sobbed and held herself closely as night slowly approached. The bitter cold bit at her like wolves, but Leto knew that she had to make it to a house if she wanted to live. She remembered that she still had one teleport tablet back to Varrock, she destroyed it and ended up in Varrock square.

“Oh my god!” said one guard. “Quickly, get a medic! This girl needs help!” Leto slowly woke up in the morning, her symbols still carved on her skin. “Good morning sleepy head” said a guard. Leto smiled, “Yeah, it was a long night”
