Well, maybe it can "see" via sonar, the noises it makes reflect back and allow it to "see" where objects are. Like Bats. It never said it made a noise, but perhaps they couldn't hear it? And it was too high of a decible or something for them, like dogwhistles.
Also, it being blue blood, wouldn't it of turned red when it came out of it's body? (Being introduced to oxygen). I mean, when you bleed, it's always a reddish colour, even if the blood hadn't been introduced to oxygen before.
Then again, I could be wrong and it's inner body doesn't work the same as every other thing in the "real world".
Atleast one of my previous guesses were right. :D

VERY NICE Carl.
I never thought of to look up something I thought I knew a correct definition to. I guess I had it wrong. It actually makes sense now, as such it cannot see, dogs mainly use their noses. Thus it's telepathy is how it sees.
Now we just have to get back to WHAT it is. :)
As Always.

Kuura made another lunge with his dagger, but Zaros stepped aside once again. The blades flashed and clashed as the two fought, sending sparks flying between them.
Zaros wrapped a mass of shadow around Kuura'* leg, but the dark strands lost hold, and the Mahjarrat slipped away. "What are you?" demanded Zaros.
"I am a son of Raldeir!" Kuura bellowed, launching another attack, which Zaros dodged.
"I wouldn't be proud of that," Zaros taunted, dancing around before Kuura.
Kuura smiled. "That just goes to show how deluded you are. You are exactly the same as Raldeir was, only humans are your favorites, not Mahjarrat."
"You lie!" Zaros spat back.
"You kill off every Mahjarrat that won't serve you. You had no right to kill Raldeir in the name of justice. What you did was just a murder for his power."
Zaros roared in fury and formed an ice block around Kuura. The ice held for several seconds, and then it started to melt. Before long, Kuura stood free in a puddle of water. "Too bad," he said, holding his dagger high before the Emperor.
Zaros scowled. "Why can't my magic hurt you?" he demanded.
Kuura chuckled. "My master found the way around your powers. Thanks to your secret, we know how to neutralize that magic of yours."
"Master?"
Kuura hurled another throwing knife at Zaros, making him duck again. "You'll get no more out of me, Empty Lord," he bellowed, and he sent forth another round of knives.
Zaros dodged the barrage and swung his scimitar at Kuura. The Mahjarrat leapt backwards away from the blow, and his feet slipped on the water from Zaros's ice block.
Zaros seized his one chance and hurled his scimitar at Kuura. It caught near his shoulder, showering the courtyard with blood. Kuura'* eyes burned with rage, and he pulled out the sword. "You'll die for that," he growled, and he moved in for the kill. Zaros threw up several barriers, but his magic failed each time. He was defenseless against Kuura.
