Princess Cassy? Who knew he was a she?? O_o

Oh and Anna will be getting more dialogue. Like for example, the next chapter. Hooray for arguments! :D

And yep, our favorite tree hugger has returned. But Guthix is going to be much different than he normally would be. Oops, spoiler alert >.<

And now Cassy (hey, what can I say? I like the nickname :P ) is going to get more pwnage-er (if that's a word o.o)

How does he? I'm not spoiling anything! You'll never get the answer from me!! :o

Well, It appears Agent 9, the Wigwam posted in 1975, has escaped and now he has brought back Afros with him....




Not very good. He would have to build a time machine, wich requires a hell of a lot of Uranium-238 and baking soda, and then somehow come to Runescape and give them to Party Pete.....




I Knew it! Pete may have a pet in his eyes, but I see an Imposter!




Also, If it's at all possible....Don't tell anyone I fell asleep during Roll Call...

Chapter 18: The Fork in the Road

Cassius was locked away in his room. He was on his bed, reading a book as usually. But after a moment, Cassius began to feel a strange feeling in the air, almost like a frosty chill. Cassius remembers the feeling when first seeing the demonic god.

He doesn't get nervous, he stands up off his bed and puts his book down. "I know you're here, Malvolio. Now come out and show yourself." Cassius demanded. The demonic god appears before Cassius. Cassius grabbed his Dragon 2h Sword's handle. He looked at Malvolio with no fear nor intimidation.

"Why are you here?"

Malvolio giggled. "I saw what those human mortals had to say about you." he replied.

"And?"

"You should not be with this army. For if you knew the secret-"

"What secret?"

"The secret of the truest reason why your family disappeared."

"Angelo killed everyone."

"No, you are wrong." Malvolio turned around, away from Cassius. He walked a few steps. "It was because of your mother's forced choice to become a double-agent."

"Forced?"

"Yes. Your mother, Morana, was forced to become a double-agent in order to save you."

"Is it true?"

"Indeed."

"I don't believe it.."

"No? Well, I can help that." Mavolio grabs Cassius' left shoulder and they are teleported away. They appeared at the Black Knight's new castle, Falador, 19 years ago. Morana, Cassius' mother, was out in a garden of beautiful flowers. Suddenly, the White Knight's new commander, Jacob Vortigern, appeared before her. She got startled when Jacob appeared. Jacob looked extremely serious and quite angry. His arm were crossed.

"What are you doing here?" Morana asked.

"You know what I'm here for, Queen of the Kingdom of the Black Knights." Jacob replied.

"You're not going to take his life!"

"We will."

"Over my dead body!!"

"Unless you can fulfill the tasks we need you to complete. You will just have to watch your son die."

"..."

Jacob gives Morana a letter. "This is information we need from you. You have until this time tomorrow to gain this information or your son will be assassinated. The choice is yours."

"I..."

"Oh, by the way. If you happen to tell anyone regarding this mission or this encounter. I'll be sure to kill your son personally."

"A-A-Alright..."

Cassius' eyes were widened. His expression was of shocked. After a minute, he tightly closed his eyes and a tear fell down his eye. He clenches his hands in a fist. He grit his teeth in anger. Cassius and the Demonic god appeared back in Cassius' room.

"Now that you know. I would like to ask one simple question to you, Cassius." Malvolio said. "Would you like to escape this place and come with me?"

"Come with you? Where?'

"To my family, of course."

"Your...family?"

"That's right. I do not work with Angelo. I have my own goals to complete."

"Are you out to defeat the Black Knights and the White Knights?"

"Yes."

"Then I don't see any reason why I should doubt your goals."

"Very well." Malvolio extends his right hand out to Cassius. "Come. It is time your true destiny is cleared for you. Your destiny lays with mine."

Cassius grabs Malvolio's hand. The two are teleported away, to the room with the round table. Right after Cassius was teleported away. There was a knock on his door, the door opened. It was Roy. "Hey Cassius, I-" Roy said before he realized Cassius wasn't there. He sees that Cassius wasn't in his room, which was very unusually of him.

Roy shuffled his head around Cassius' room and could not find him. Roy rubbed the back of his head in confusion. Roy closed Cassius' room door, still bearing the confusion facial expression. Roy runs to Anna and his room. He knocked on the door and opened it. He sees Anna, sewing her bed sheet back together.

She looks at Roy and sees his expression. She instantly knew something was wrong. Roy walked into the room and closed the door behind him. He walked closer to Anna.

"Have you seen Cassius?" Roy asked, with much worry in his voice.

"Not since he left the medic room, why?" she replied.

"He wasn't in his room nor the other places he would normally be to think."

"Did he leave?"

Roy suddenly heard a voice call his name. Roy suddenly fainted to the ground. Worried, Anna ran over and checked if he was alright. Roy appeared in an area he remembered, with fire behind him near a cliffside. Roy shuffled his head left and right, confused about the sudden change.

Roy took a few steps forward, memories of the time here passed his head. "I remember this place." Roy mumbled to himself. "Yes. I'm quite sure you would have." a voice echoed. Another him suddenly appeared before him. This event startled Roy.

"H-hey! You're the other me that tricked me to fall off the cliff that one time!"

"That was merely a test to see if you were trustworthy."

"Trustworthy? Just who are you besides the obvious!?"

"Well, if you must know. I am Guthix, or rather the newly born Guthix."

"So, I'm not Guthix. I'm just the host of Guthix."

"Precisely. Just like how Alrous came to be via getting strong within Dante Bellerophon's own soul. I get strong as long as you maintain your balance."

"So, that's why you made me be able to revive Deus. Because you knew it would cause imbalance."

"You're not as stupid as you appear."

"H-hey! C'mon, that was a low blow!"

"Was it?" Guthix crossed his arms. "Or was it truly speaking the truth?"

"..."

"The decisions you've made have been...questionable. But then aren't as foolish as the decision your friend just made."

"My friend? Cassius?"

"Correct. Your friend has just agreed to join the Demonic family."

"He's already a demon."

"No, you idiot, he isn't. He is merely a human given the abilities of a demon, or rather a half-demon."

"So..what is the Demonic family?"

"They are full demons, given half-godly abilities. Such as extremely quick speed, beyond superhuman strength. And more fearfully, the ability to transform into extremely powerful demons depending on how their mortality is."

"Like Angelo, right?"

"Yes, exactly."

"So, is Angelo a part of the Demonic family?"

"I would assume so, yes."

"Just what are they after?"

"What else? To rid the world of all the mortal races and to bring forth the rise of the Demon race."

"It has to be stopped."

"Do you think that burden can be placed upon your shoulders?"

"Yeah."

"Very well." Guthix points his left index finger at Roy. "I would hurry. Your friend will be making his way back to your castle very soon."

The world around Roy began to shimmer and he returned back into the real world. His eyes opened back up. He looks around and he sees Anna, looking down next to him. When Roy opened his eyes back up, Anna got a smile upon her face. Roy shot up from his bed.

"I need to hurry." Roy said. "Huh?" Anna replied. Roy quickly opened his door and ran out. Anna followed him. He began to run to Cassius' room with Anna following behind him. Roy burst opened Cassius' room door. He sees Cassius was sitting on his chair, reading a book. When Cassius saw Roy and Anna, he smirked.

"What are you doing!!? Why are you going to the demonic god's side!!?" Roy shouted.

"Oh, Roy. Stop acting like you're concerned." Cassius replied. "You couldn't care less about me but that's fine. I couldn't give a damn about you."

"Stop acting like you're alone! You've got-"

"I've got nobody; at least here anyways. I don't need your sympathy or pity any longer. I'm with a much better type of family who can at least begin to understand the way I feel."

"Is this what it's all about!? People understanding your feelings!!?"

"No, that's not even close to why I'm becoming a part of their family!" Cassius shot up from the chair he was sitting on. He drops the book that was in his hand. "You White Knights took away everything I had. You were the root that started all of my trouble, all of my hate!!"

"What you do mean..?"

Cassius looks at Anna. "Back then, you were so desperate that you went after a small boy that was hardly the age of 5, me..!"

"But-"

"And who was the one who forced my mother to become a double-agent? That maggot Jacob."

"Everyone makes mistakes Cassius. Jacob just wasn't-"

"Wasn't what? Thinking straight? I don't care. All that matters is the fact that the White Knights are the causers of my life becoming a hell." Cassius grabs his Dragon two-handed sword. "And now, Jacob's mistake is going to bring his army into that same hell. Where you all will feel the pain I've suffered."

"You're talking like him.."

"I'm disappointed...in you Cassius...."

Cassius looks at Anna. "Sorry to disappoint." After those words, Cassius walks over to the blank southern wall of his room. He plants his left hand upon the wall, a black and red portal appears. Cassius walks through the portal. The portal closes behind him, leaving Anna and Roy sad of the loss of a comrade.
