Chapter 13: Echoes from the Past
The closer they were the entrance , the more tense the expression on Casisus' face was. Half way through the tunnel were a two boxes stacked. Cassius puts his right hand in-front of the group, telling them to stop. "What's the matter?" Roy asked. Cassius looked at the boxes knowing something was wrong.
Cassius walks over to the boxes, knells down, and places one of his hands on both boxes. He closes his eyes and consecrates. He feels for vibrations or a sudden small move, he listens for breathing. Cassius sighs as he stood up. "Alright, it's clear." Cassius said, with relief in his voice. Cassius reunites with the group and they continue walking.
After another 2 miles, they arrive at the entrance to Angelo's room. Cassius climbed up to the top of the ladder and put his ear against the manhole cover -- he heard several voices. Up above the surface. Angelo, Alberto, Kvetch, and Isaac were talking.
Angelo sat down on his chair with his arms crossed. "Are the summoners in place?" asked Angelo.
Isaac nods his head. "Yes, they are in place sir." he answered.
Alberto looks down at the ground. "I think our special guests have arrived, Lord Angelo."
"Yes, I have known for the longest of time." Angelo looks at Kvetch. "Kvetch, Alberto, may you do the honors?"
"With pleasure..kekeke.." Kvetch replied.
"Very well sir."
Kvetch grabs the manhole cover and throws it. Roy looks up and sees Kvetch smiling. He tries to run away but is pushed back by Alberto. "Don't tell me you were trying to run from the show." Alberto said. A minute later, they are all brought up to the surface without their weapons, and they are all been placed in handcuffs. Angelo looks at the group with a smirk on his face.
"Welcome to my castle, White Knights." Angelo greeted. "Afterall, you haven't seen the inside in about 19 years last time I checked."
